well if your spawn camping at the enemys only flag and have already captured all the other flags, then i think the fact that it is their only flag shows that you have already used your go go gadget skills lol.

2) Obviously I don't know what your trying to get at, do you know what I'm trying to get at?

I am simply stating that if there are no more flags to capture then the only thing left to do is go the the enemies last remaining flag and win the game, it has nothing to do with skill because if you had no skill and were shit at the game then you would have captured no flags and would have no need to go to the enemies flag.

Please show me where the LOGIC is flawed in that, unless you as the losing team expect the wining team to sit with their fingers up their arse and wait for the losing team to come and take back all the captured flags.

My whole post was through the eyes of a team that had captured all the flags, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out how fucked the losing team is and what they need to do to get out of the situation, if you are on about something else then please do enlighten us as your point is obviously not coming across very clearly.

So please do tell us all what you mean by

PS: Scoobs, I do play the game. I formed the 1942 arm of PR^ with Spanjab, and play in the Clanbase ladder, where we are currently in 16th position.

Anyway, if you find yourself in that position all you can do is lose the game gracefully or think of some way to make an amazin comeback (like jump in a jeep and race towards a flag hoping that they dont kill you).

My advice is dont let yourself get into that position, play on a team that knows what it's doing.

Heh Imagine in world war 2 if when the russians got to berlin and hitler said no wait this is my last flag please pull back, let us retake france then you can attack.

The russians now they know how to spawn camp.. bet there were a lot of pissed of germans.

What about doing up the sniper scopes?

Like, in Counterstrike (dunno about other HL Mods), when you use a sniping weapon, you get the option to use 1* Zoom, and 2* Zoom.

Which i find very handy... and plus isnt that how most sniper weapons were done?

ww2 scopes were a single barrel that zoomed, no varying zoom thing with different lenses.

The scope is quite fine as it is. Allow me to decrease the zoom, and all your asses would belong to me, and its quite good enough for shots as far as you can see.

They played the first two clan matches without me, a tragic mistake. Funnily enough, despite myself spending our last match sunbathing on top of a hill calling directions, we won fairly convincingly. I see a pattern forming.

Spawn camping near the end of the game = "The Spoils of War" to those camping. Those undersiege should take the time to reflect where they went wrong and make a brew.


The only overall thing in the game that annoys me is that some of the spawn points are miles away from anything so if you're unlucky you end up spawning and trecking somewhere which takes an age (airfield on IWO Jimma, Axis side of river on Market Garden..)

Some map specific tweaks

Battle Of The Bulge
Allies need about 30 more tickets at start
Allies home base should not be able to be captured

Omaha Beach
Allies need a couple more Shermans on the beach
All dead landing craft on the beech (non operational) should face the other way (open end towards the sea).

BattleAxe
Tickets should only start to reduce quicker when one side holds all the flags.


Midway / Guadalcanal / Gazala
Remove maps.

The rest are fine, dandy and well balanced.

Only 2 things I remember about the last match are Scoob standing on the airfield shouting "WHERE THE FUCK IS EVERYONE" and me Camping on a Repair Point
