If you are really concerned about disclosing your IP but still want to chat on IRC, then get yourself a bouncer (BNC) and you'll connect to IRC by proxy, keeping yourself well and truly hidden.

Most shell providers offer this service and it's usually very cheap (10 quid for the year). They usually have a pile of vhosts put aside for BNC purposes, ranging from the funny to the plain bizarre. Some providers also allow you to park your domain on their nameservers for use with your bouncer, but that would kinda defeat the point of anonymity as your WHOIS infoz would be there for all to see.

P.S. Capturing mouseclicks is pointless from a hacker's point of view.

The problem with DaOC is following - userid and password are passed as command line arguments to game.dll in clear text.
Changing this (asking Mystics to pass hash instead of password) will make account hacking more diffcult.
