Was Harry in another game, Harry Redknapp. In Asherons Call in fact, played on Leafcull.

Sprout has now kinda stuck tho, so ill prob stick with it

it is nice, but just wanted to criticize on some parts .

The US has 13 normal servers, 3 RP servers, 2 PvP servers, one Co-op server and the Pendragon test server. All of these servers use better hardware than Excal does presently. This gives players a massive amount of choice on where to play, especially as it means they can pick a favorite realm and then choose whether they want to play as the favorites or the underdogs, according to Relic and population figures. While we are on the subject…

you sure avout that us servers got better servers or are just running better than excal does? That they run better isnt that surprissing as excal is a server that is not completly full yet, but it is getting crowded . However some us server have less players than excal and I think most dont have the same amount of players on peak time. As excal largest amount of people are from cest and bst (cet/gmt in winter). US servers got for starters 4 timezones from usa alone and then add australians and asians aswell. So US servers have their inhabitans divided over more time zones, which means less people online at the same time = less lag. So it doesnt have to be that US servers actually got better hardware, it could just be that they have less people online at the same time.

and about the quests, those should take very little programing. It would take mostly thinking about stories and then adding it all in with tools. So it would mean one time programming to add quests/npc's/mobs for some extra fun. It does take time thinking creating the quests, but that most likely wont be done by the people who program .

but was nice to read about your sons story and the difficulties in df . and gl with your tailoring

you could have meant no lag? As it is kinda logical that us servers with same hardware will have less problems of lag (which I explained above . As you didnt make clear if their servers were actually better or just felt better .

Just look at the last (bi)friday news, it doesn't tell us what they have done it tells us what they haven't done :/

They haven't upgraded the servers they said they were going to upgraded

They haven't fixed the chronicles STILL

They haven't finish the polling booth

They sound like they haven't even started the 1.62 patch

What the hell have they done? Damn I wish I worked for GOA sounds like it's just one long holiday

we work low hours, break things to get overtime and becuase what we do is to "techie" for tohers to understand we get away with murder

Oblivion thanks for your concern . However, I checked this out before I admitted anything, this is what the CoC actually says:

The user must be positioned at his or her screen whenever his or her character performs an action that normally requires human intervention (activating a macro, issuing a command, pressing a button, etc.).

What this means is that the macro itself is not breaking the CoC, its sodding off round the pub while it runs. As the furthest I got was the settee, owing to the fact i could not get it to work, i didnt break CoC, as I could still see my screen.

Ofc at the time i WANTED to break CoC but im cured now lol. BTW, tailor hit 1032 skill!

running a 3rd program besides daoc is against the CoC, so daox is against the CoC, dark tools of camelot is against the CoC(for both you still play actively). However it never really ran in your case, so they prolly wont ban you.

actually I think the EU servers run on the same hardware as the US servers...

just we have bigger populations on our servers than most of the US ones (they range from deserted to almost full... I remember reading threads complaining about hideous lag on Guinevere - I can only assume they upgraded along the same lines as they did with Avalon, Stonehenge, Broceliande and the other [FULL] European servers)

Excalibur's getting upgraded.... they just need the hardware delivered.

besides flimgoblin even if an US server has same population as excal does. They play more spread around the day . As 90% of this server population comes from 2 neighbouring time zones and US server has atleast 4 from USA alone and then other people from all the other countries that play there .

I thought we had at least three time zones?? Do Eastern Europe not have different time to CET?

eastern europe probably, but how many players are from there? Thought we had mainly UK+netherlands+spain+sweden+norway. There are some russians and fins, but those aint the majority.
