You see how the american servers are run by mthic and how the community is handled by camelot herald, if theres a problem with the servers you'll get a post about it within the hour and they are allways adding all kinds of news and stuff.


GOA dont bother telling us when things go wrong and we are left to speculate and were lucky if we get some new news once a week. Have they said about the restructuring of mythic to concentrate more of their resources in LIVE in game content have they mentioned about the all the bug problems with ToA. DID they bother to tell us when the servers were hacked and nothing happened for two weeks and kept us completely in the dark.

The EU subscriber base believe it or not is actually bigger than the US base and yet we have been lumbered with a poor imitation of mythic

As soon as WoW is out im off.

I've played for 2 years on US servers.... and the customer service is very good there. They always let things know within hours if not minutes when things go wrong or whatever.

When I started on europe I was shocked to see there isn't even an appeal system............

Yesterdays shutdown of Excalibur [2003-12-12]

Yesterday we performed a scheduled maintenance of the Excalibur and Avalon servers. This was a pretty big one and something all the servers will have to go through in preparation of the coming expansion Trials of Atlantis.

Unfortunately the proper information was not posted in time on our website. Furthermore, a bug that makes the monsters invisible was present longer than necessary. We are very sorry for the lack of information, there will be more news on the maintenance later today in the Friday News.

oh and they didnt eve mention it in the Friday news just some drivle about maintaince for Chronciles.

I dont know what GOA have other mythic but the way they handled the hacker incident was atrocious.

Im just fed up with the lack of communication between GOA and its subscriber base, camelot herald has serveral posts a day (although mostly about ToA at the moment), why get a roll call of latest 50's on the server they offer all sorts of tools and stuff.

But we dont we just get greif

and im almost tempted to carry out rituals to speed Blizzard on their way
