Gimped 2.0 spec or not, early assassins had the best time in RvR one-shotting stuff and staying stealthed. Going from that level of 'ownage' to what infils have become today would put anyone off. It's not just infils but alot of the early SBs stopped playing soon after losing IP and the numerous nerfs since then. Even fully buffed, the class isn't as fun as it used to be.

Mid pryd there's a tylor but i guess that's not the same one.

i remember being a few levels after Gwendel all the way from 30 to 46 or so where i took a leveling break (Gwendel always passed all his uber stuff to me when he was done with it, apparently )

And yes, the uber squad of today, are a very different kind of assassins than in the old days. But everything is

Not early assassins, you mean early SB´s, as a 2.0-spec Inf it wasn´t that easy to oneshoot an even-con char.
