Frankly, just enforce the T&C like you do everywhere else. It doesn't need anything more than that. Sure, the gen forum has been a "target" of late, but turn the T&C attention elsewhere now. You don't need to cite UK law, Game.net law is what they agreed to on arrival.

Mindless remarks with no substance come under free speech and should be protected just as much as opinion backed up with fact.

The law, as far as I read it, seems pretty vague with references such as:

Pretty damn vague really.

I can ban, as can Brinx, but sometimes its difficult to know when and where to ban (especially with topics like this that have the whole "right to an opinion" bone of contention bang in the middle of them).

First we need a committee to assess if there really is a problem, then a sub-committee to decide if we should do something about it, another sub-committee to come up with possible solutions, an evaluation committee to decide on the best course of action and how best to implement it, a board of overseers to check on progress, an advisory board, support staff and administration/personnel officials, an action group to implement the chosen solution and a PR co-ordinator to keep the forum users informed. After a suitable trial period and at intervals there after, the various groups would then need to reconvene to discuss the success of the solution and the possibilty of any further changes.

Only through this proccess of continuous assessment and improvement can the current situation be resolved satisfactorily.
