A Request: BarrysWorld TFC Server - 2fort only

Hello.

(BTW, my first post on this forum

I would like to request from the great Barrys World staff, to make a Team Fortress Classic server, that will run 2fort 24/7.

I see there is a "Hunted Only" TFC Server, and I see no reason why NOT to make a TFC Server with 2fort only - The most popular TFC Map.

not to encourage dual postings, but yes, put it in the Game Servers as well, in here hopefully it will catch your liasons eye, and in game servers the bw staff will see aswell.

Great map, but hang on a team made of medics constantly just attacking v's a team just defending. Nearly everytime i come to barrysworld tfc servers these days when 2 forts is running, it's that exact situation medic limit? Should be

I'm sure there used to be a 2fort only server or maybe that was on NGI I can't remember now, to be honest I can't stand the map, I could see this becoming full of snipers having sad little sniper wars till early hours of the morning, that would be a waste of agood server

Perfect I'd say but might be worth thinking what kind of player this sort of server will apeal to and maybe let them have a sniper aside ?

No! limit the medics, last time i was on, 7 of 8 players on one team were medics But hey im not suprised, as the medic, even though it's cheap as fck, just bounces around the map, jumps around like a lagged out twat, and doesn't perform the role in tfc in which it's designed for is well acepted, unlike most other class's Btw the class's you want to limit, are mainly just the ones that the Moaning medics complain about, thats a suprise

Lets be honest the medic isnt a newbie class and it involves skill to use it, it can be a very powerfull class when used correctly and this could wind a lot of newbie's up if they happen to stumble into a skilled server

This kind of server is unlikely to be apealing to skilled players, its more like its gonna become the local newbie sniper camp, heh kinda sounds like that server wireplay have "Newbie sniper server"

I dont think its gonna bother many people limiting medics as you aint gonna get many people who can play medic on there, I can see it now a load of gimps who can't be arsed to learn the game hiding in corner with thier sniper riffle's creeping around.......nah not for me

Something I'd find more appealing is a non valve map server maybe being promoted through BWTFCL to bring most league players together playing on this server, maybe setting a pw to that every one knows on bwtfcl this should keep the standard of play higher .

Still I got my own server

And I think there should be 1 HW Max in each team, 2 Engines MAX in each team, and PLEASE Limit the snipers to 1 in each team!

Making it unlimited is very bad, it could be very ugly if there is more then 1-2+ snipers in each teams.

Hrm how about nerfing the snipers on the elite and skilled servers (these servers when full of newbie snipers just turn gay).

1 hwguy, hrm, there are times when using two of them is justified, you can use 2 on the xo2 bridge (yeah, its ghey buy works), you can use 2 on well. Plus on the newbie server let them all run around doing whatever they want, if your at the stage where you have found these forums and are posting shouldn't be a problem.

Limit medics? Have you never heard of the defensive medic sir?

No but iv'e been on many a server where one team is full of medics. Imho it's a crap situation, it's just as bad as a game full of snipers, or hw's disagree you will, but it's true.

Just the people that make all the noise about Class limits are in general the medics themselfs When i get fcked off with them i just play HW, iv'e got better lock than an sg. They cry there heads offf when i do this, maybe because im not as blinded as a static go nowhere SG.
And b4 you talk about Con grens at me, im not that stupid, it happens sure, but not as much as the medic/s would like, thats why they MOAN MOAN MOAN

Realy, well if there so easy, why do people moan about them then? Maybe if your up against some noob, you don't complain. Against me, who is deadly with both a soldier and Hw class, you tactics might work once, but never a 2nd time Also helps if you can double the speed of the Hw, which i can sooo

I wouldn't realy want a cap, i just hope that others can see my point, a team full of medics is just as queer as a team full of snipers, thats all. Games that just consist of such a team of medics imho ain't the best, it's just a constant rush in hope one gets through. I know that 9 times out of 10 they do get through eventually, but it's hardly the stuff 'Team' fortress is made of. Maybe thats why in tf2 it's not gona be that way
