A Request: BarrysWorld TFC Server - 2fort only

PC ZONE have started a 24hr non stop 2fort server 24 max. classes are limited and the server is wicked.
if BW won't listen, go somewhere else...

i don't understand why there is a Hunted only server, its so boring. i like hunted alot but 24hrs of hunted, what mentally retarded person wants to play hunted all day? also why doesn't BW do anything about our requests, do they not listen? our can't they read (no offence BW if you can't). hmmm i wonder if BW will send hitmen to kill me...

The hunted server is nearly allways full, any time of the day

I must be mentaly retarded then, as like many others i spend hours there

But i doubt anyone could play it for 24hrs, nothing to do with the game type, more a lack of sleep thingy

I very much doubt they will replace rotation maps with custom ones, that was done here the year before last, it was a nightmare, all of the barrysworld tfc servers were empty everynight. Fact is people don't have the maps and can't be ass'd to find them. I would love to see the 'betrayed' added to the hunted server, but i realise it would kill the server, so it wouldn't be worth adding it

We do listen but not all of us are in a position to do anything about it... i.e. I can't do shit about this particular request.

TBH this should be something you take up with one of the Liasons for the game which can be found @ http://www.barrysworld.com/games/liaisons.asp

ta to Mystic for bringing this back to my attention, I believe we have plans already to make 7 a 2Fort only server and move the settings on 7 to #6 which is probably the least used server atm.

I 'think' MrBee has emailed Deathace (mrbee being the other tfc liaison and Deathace being the server guy), i'll find out where this has stopped in the works.... but so you know it is planned

Limits look probable to be the same as #7 is atm.

personally I know where I will get my fix of 2fort coz the pczone server has 24 players (not good for my poor ZX81 ) and no class limits.

Just a thought tho, a team full of medics is usually the result of the other team having near 8 man def. If the game is lame I wouldnt blame the medics.

well fuck that then, no snipers is dumb. pc zone server is wicked with its 2 sniper limit, maybe the reason why it's always full now. i'll stick with pc zone then.

Well you might find them on one you pay for m8

And no snipers will attract maybe a more skillfull and team thinking player rather than the newbie's that flock to PC Zone server

But I think they will set the limits when it gets set up properly maybe having 1 sniper a team

Hey why not just make a newbie sniper server to keep them all happy

Give them a little rotation of sniper maps

But sniper limit of 1 should make for good games, I mean on a public its wrong really to completely remove them as they were added to the game for some reason I suppose

The PC zone server has 24 players (groan)
no footsteps
no class limits at all
no damage at all (A or H) from fiendly fire.
its 24/7 nonstop so the map never restarts, current score blue 2600 odd, red 2100 odd --- LOL!
It has tfc_balance_scores 1 which means that the winning team causes less damage and the losing team does more damage. With 500 score difference an enemy soldier was killing me with 3 rockets solly vs solly.

As server settings go this has to be one of the worst Ive ever seen. I think I'll wait for barrys
