A Good Reason to Split Up?

Right, me and Samm have been having a serious argument. It has gotten so bad that we are close to splitting up over it. We aren't actually married but if we were this could be ending in divorce. I am saying one thing and she is saying another. So I need your views on the thing we are arguing over......























....the way toilet rolls go on the holder!!

Samm says they go on with the sheet over the top, I say they go on with the sheet underneath, all neat and correct. Obviously I keep swapping the way they are placed on the holder each time I go in the bog, and more obviously this is pissing Samm off.

SO how do you hang yours?

It depends on the roll holder. If it's one of those with the little overhang at the front holding the roll down, then it has to be put in so that the sheet is over the top, otherwise it's much harder to get it out - having the paper hang down at the back means that pulling down on the sheet pulls the paper up against the flap of the holder, and hence having the sheet at the front is much more sensible (given that it doesn't rub against the flap; rather it rubs "with" it). It somewhat depends on the flap, though - if the flap is light, it probably doesn't matter. If it's heavy, it definitely does matter.

Apart from that, y'know, whatever.

I solved this problem by breaking the holder off the wall, we just keep the bog roll on the floor.

Right I have taken pictures of our bog roll holder. The first one is the wrong way and the way preferred by Paul Daniels = clearly wrong.

The second correct way is the way preferred by Des O'Connor = clearly correct.

I rest my case.
