Yes, thousands of people did die in the event. Discussing it won't bring them back. However, given the weight of the evidence both for the official 'governmental view' of events and the 'conspiracy theory' view, I am a little disturbed as to what the actual cause of those events was.

If I were to die in suspicious and uncertain circumstances I would damn well hope other people were trying to find out, ultimately, who the hell was responsible - and punish them accordingly. Especially if those circumstances later lead to the attack of two countries to secure their resources for your own nation's good. But we can't call it an invasion, oh no.
