Yes I bash Brooker, but I still watch him. He's mildly entertaining, I just wish people wouldn't consider him some almighty God when all he says is pretty common knowledge and sense.

Harry Hill's a bit strange for me. I shouldn't like him but I really do, there's something fantastic about him in his performances. There's nothing wrong with a bit of disengage brain comedy silliness and I am a particular fan of the way he manages to tell the types of jokes even he finds cringeworthy in a way that stupid people find hilarious and clever people find amusingly knowing.

TBH though, while they make similar shows I don't really see any Brooker influence in Hill and haven't noticed any change in the show since the emergence of Screenwipe. Hill's stuff celebrates the joys, little gems and accidents in TV, Brooker just lambastes the stupid.

Dead Set was good last year anyway and Brooker wrote that. Anyone who comes up with a good new zombie series deserves a hoorah and a yippee

Not true, he can't praise The Wire enough, and rightly so.

I think the reason people have such a strong reaction to Brooker is that despite what he's saying is just common sense, it's so rare to see it so it's very refreshing. Plus he is actually funny.

TV Burp is basically the same format it always was. I've watched from Day 1 so I know better than anyone: 1,000,000% ! :twothumbs:

They still need to do more "Most elaborate dog-wee of the week."
