It has a 16 ms response time, so I expect it'll be ok. Try and source some reviews of it first.

So Flatron L1710S is in fact an exact copy of Iiyama E431S in its characteristics, save for the digital input (the price difference between the two models is just enough to make up for that). And I can only repeat what I have just said about the solution from Iiyama: this monitor suits for playing dynamic games where response time is more important than viewing angles.

From what i've read 16ms displays obtain those speeds by sacrificing colour depth, you'd propbably get a better result using a 20ms display

I've been using an Iiyama ProLite E431S at work for a few weeks now. It's sharp and has an amazing colour range. Still, even with a 16ms RT there's a little bit of sustain when there's a lot of stuff moving around. If you're really into your multiplayer gaming, then there's nothing to beat a CRT, still.

I was reading somewhere that response times can vary massively depending on the colour change invole in the pixel, so it could be 5ms for some parts and anything up to 50ms for others.
