The fact that you've not heard the latest Ram Raider would suggest that in fact you're full of shit about attending DnB nights as pretty much every DJ has been caning the hell out of it for 4 months. Andy C started playing it last November before signing it to Ram. Pendulum's played it at every Renegade Hardware for the last 3 months and played it on his live mix for Kiss a while back. Amazing that he'd leave it out for the one night you've "seen" him. Even Grooverider's playing it.

It appears in the 3 months you've been "listening" to DnB you've not payed that much attention.

As for who I am, everyone but you seems to know, however I understand it's hard to keep track when you're busy trolling subjects you know fuck all about.

Blah, I can't edit out the insults, so I'll apologise them as they are uncalled for.

Oooh, one last thing, give it 2 months and you won't be able to move for Metal DnB; Pack of Wolves, Audio & Mackie's Moshpit and that remix of Hide the Tears.

Metal was a genre created for depressed teenagers with an 'I hate the world, but I'm not going to do anything about it.' attitude. 99.9% of it really is junk. The other 0.1% is mediocre at best. I agree that some of the musicians in these bands may be very talented but, even then, the music is almost always ruined by a poor vocalist. Most people who listen to metal listen to it for what they think it means rather than how it sounds in my opinion.

I agree.

bodhi replies to ArrrImmaPir8!....

I have heard the latest Ram Raiders Dubplate, in fact I never said I hadn't. I just said it sounds nothing like thrash metal. I've listened to it again without the effects of various illegal substances and guess what...... IT STILL SOUNDS NOTHING LIKE THRASH METAL. It just sounds like dirty DnB to me. It is excellent, but it ain't thrash

My second point, and it's kind of a big one. Pendulum are not a he, there's 3 of them last time I checked. There were three on stage when I saw them, and guess what, there's three of them in the interview on www.breakbeat.co.uk.

There's no need to insult my intelligence, I was there at the various DnB nights I told you about, I still have the ticket stubs (apart from Pendulum, that one got roached at the after-party). Just because I didn't stop during each and every tune and ask who it was by doesn't mean I wasn't there or not paying attention. Not everyone is quite as anal about music as you tbh.

Found an interesting article that ties into the whole "true" issue of black metal. A very interesting read.

Article

The whole site has some wellwritten articles on other subjects concering the extremer forms of metal too.
