Can I just ask how the suffaragete movement, and equality for women can be seen as a bad thing?

Sufferagettes I believe, womans rights campaigners in the early 1900's became famous after one of them threw herself under the kings horse killing her (they got it on camera too) Bet they were all bloody glad they weren't considered equal when the great war began, nice and safe in England or in a damp cold trench with the Belgians and the French fighting the hun.

Because some men think women should still be there slaves around the home.

Not me and prbably not many in here.

But there are Men out there that do.

Actually, it was the First World War that made a lot of difference in finally getting women the vote.

While all the men were away fighting, the women stepped into all the traditionally "male" roles and professions, thus proving that they had both the ability and intelligence to be considered as equals.

Of course, when the men came back, the women didnt want to relinquish their new found freedom and independence.

Same burst of progress happened in the Second World War too.

Well: Equal rights = good. Margaret Thatcher = bad...

Give it another 100 years and hopefully the benefits will outway the atrocities...
