1.75 Prices and Opinions(Debate?)

Good morning fellas. :touch:

I think we all can feel the drastic pricechange that came with 1.75

Scroll prices change, and tbh i like it. Personally i found it very confusing before. But after 1.75, 1of3 will be the cheap scroll, and 3of3 the expensive one.
So, what i want to hear from you is, how do you think of this change?

Do you like that it has gotten way more simple to tell which scrolls should be costy, and which ones not?
Did you like targeted farming better? Or do you like the randomness?

I like it as there are no more "camps" and its easyer to tell if you got a crappy or costy scroll....the end hehe

Im fed up of getting 10000000 crap scrolls from red/purple con mobs. Apart from that I supose its not too bad. Im a bit half n half on this tbh.

Meso was pretty easy to farm, and an easy way to make money without needing access to a bb or ml7 dungeon

Well the main question for me atm is ....any list with scroll drops updated or its just random?

Don't worry Thadius, only Aerus and Volcanus drop rates have been changed. Personally, I think its a bad idea, now its much harder to get the scrolls we need most, in time 1 and 2s will be sold for no more than 1p and 3s could go up to 50p (I've already seen this happen) imo a better solution would have been to increase the drop rates

More people getting scrolls = more scrolls on the market = lower prices.
20 of the same scrolls for sale for 50p is not gonna happen.
Volcanus scrolls were very hard to get outside of ML7 dungeon. Now they can drop form any red mob in there.

thats true yet, i've tried to farm the same scroll now for 3 or 4 days i've got loads of other ones that are useful and good but yet i agree changing the drop rate would have been better, or adding a couple of extra mobs that drop the harder scrolls. Making it more random means spending long times farming and getting say 3 som 3 of 3 when all you wanted was one blasted MT 3 of 3

Remember what the GMs said several times? Many camps inside TOA dungeons, and some outside camps are good for xp groups and if you like PL, they are good for PLing as well. With having good scrolls in easy to reach places where you can have xp or PL groups, we might see some such groups soon. Such groups can lead tomuch more scrolls on the market...

Tbh, they should make scrolls quest items.
Or even better: remove them from the game altogether aswel as artifact xp.

Personally I like it, in the last 7 days I have managed to farm ;

2x 3of3 Shades
3x 3of3 Mad Tales
2x 2of3 Mad Tales
1x 3of3 Battler
1x 3of3 Malice

and alot of other 2/3's that have some value. I like the system because I know what is easiest for me to farm and I don't have to keep switching targets or camps. I have farmed for about 60 hours in the last week and on average I get a valuable scroll every 5 hours or so. It isn't hard work and I can go afk at any time with the pet set to aggro incase a snake wanders past and tries to eat my buffbot. All in all I much prefer this to the bad old days of farming level 65 Siam's and the level65 or so caster Taur's like the Magos who peel like mad onto anyone who casts or moves.
