The changes in 1.59 and 1.60 stuff so many classes and specific specialisations of classes from Hib and Mid I find it unlikely Mythic won't put something in.

I think they'll have to move quite swiftly following going live with those 2 patches because there has been a LOT of debate about those patches, probably more than any preceeding patch they've released.

I'm waiting to see. I hope they realise that the changes they implement over the next 2 months are crucial for them with all the competition thats looming. If they are slap-dash about it then a lot of people will jump ship in frustration.

Also note: all the classes with high evade wear lower armour types. Evade III in chain is a bit funny, you stick even a chain vest on, get a mate to swing a baseball bat at you, and try to evade it. You will either get whacked by the bat, or the weight of the chain will keep you moving when you evade, and you will fall on your ass.

Ok, this is the 2nd patch version that Alb has got so many bonuses. Next to nothing for Mid and Hib.

People are saying that these changes are to make it more fun? Ok, giving Enchanters stealth and scale would make them fun to play, but do you see Mythic doing this? Hell no.

Yes, I agree, screaming nerf before we actually test them, is unjustified. But looking at the changes on paper, Minstrels will now be alot more powerful than they were.

Minstrels are based on a Rogue class, Skalds on a Fighter class, and Bards on a Naturalist class. So to give Minstrels the same sort of skills using stealth as their Infiltrator counterpart (except Detect Hidden), why can't Bards be given the same benefits of this thinking? Give Bards Spec buffs, or better healing abilities, or Scale like the other 2 Naturalist classes, to even them up with the Minstrel and Skald. Replace the Bard Mezz with castable AoE stun, given the fact they are the main CC class in Hib. Or give them a pet ability inline with the Minstrel.

Mythic, once again, don't seem to be looking at the bigger picture here. They are giving another class some abilities which doesn't balance it with the other realms, which is apparently what they were meant to be doing.

I suspect they are probably looking at each realm and seeing what improvements are needed, but adding them a realm at a time, with each realm being in different patches, just won't work. It will mean that 1 realm will be overpowered until the next few patches are introduced.

In otherwords, 1.59 and 1.60 seem to be a big mistake by Mythic. They should either put in changes to all realm at once, or none at all.

To be honest I think that Mythic got the RA's wrong from the start. It should have been one huge list that was available to all. That way people could have specced their char the way they wanted. It would have made RvR a bit more interesting as you would never know what a player might have up his sleeve. As it is there are special RA's that are useless in the endgame for a number of classes so you can expect people to only go for the ones that work. A bit crappy really.

The Theurgist one has to be the worst in the game, a siege only spell that hits for less damage than one styled attack from an armsman and is on a 10 min timer :(

Heh - thats pretty bad - another junk one is the SM one Whip of Encouragement - for 6 realm points you get a pet that moves at double speed for 60 seconds on a 30 minute timer - lol :)

Fear the SM pet :)

Ahem, what about the Skald special RA?

A 30 sec damage add that costs 14 RPS and on a 30 min timer?
And with the damage add nerf they did, this RA is about as effective as hitting a Sherman tank with a toothpick.
