I have my house booked for cavity wall insulation for next week. When I was living with the ex-wife I had the house done and it made a difference in heating bills during cold spells. This is a government funded project so why not?
What are you using to insualte inside without a) damp and b) losing too much thickness?the three external walls that I haven't insulated on the inside
from the beeb said:the letter goes on to say the new Public Order Act which came into force in July "appears to be a direct attack on the right to the freedom of peaceful assembly"....
The letter sent in mid-August requested a reply within 60 days but has not received one, which the UN special rapporteur described as "troubling".
"Most countries take these letters seriously and respond," ... the lack of a formal reply reflected "a general disregard for human rights concerns by the current government"
Ah. You don't like them, so it doesn't matter whether 'justice' is served - you're just happy they got a kicking.
A new law brought in specifically to hand out stiffer sentences than you get for arson. They broke the law
However, the reason I'm pushing is that a recent post of yours illustrated something I've long thought about you - that you have a gap between law and justice in your thinking. That you see the law as the arbiter of right, rather than it being what it is - a tool to do a job. Sometimes a very bad job.
What a weird thing to say @Jupitus. That's exactly what this place, indeed discussion itself, is for, no?
Singling out a single user to then analyse outside the context of the thread in question. I thought I told you not to bite?
