Agreed, it may take time Zap but in the mean time we have paid, and it doesn't seem fair that the time taking to get the servers full again is not making us feel better after paying for it.

It's all very well being told to be patient, but like I said earlier, it seems that subscribers are currently being punished for being loyal.

I can see my amount of multiplayer gaming dropping off at an exponential rate very soon.

hehe, i just gave my case a second coat of paint, its one im making for a m8.

I popped downstairs for 2 bloody seconds, and now i have a ginger/white and blue kitten.Stupid thing was playing in the overspray that i accidently got all over the spare room floor :)

I've tried convincing a bundle of people to sign up.

Maybe the fact that the BWCSL is going P2P will encourage sign ups?

Basically you have to be a BW member to play in the leagues.

Most people seem to agree with me b00b. However i dont see it as the only way, merely an idea to try to help.
You must admit rcon commands and getting ops / banning people from irc were some of your main amusements, and the source of quite a bit of trouble in the past as i recall ;)

Rcon is a bit much. Actually, the reserve slot system is theoretically possible via Barrylogon using Adminmod, but I can't see it being implemented. Far too complicated, and probably well removed from BW's plans.

Judging from Zappeh's response I would have to agree with you Itcheh :)
Dont get me wrong, my post wasn't from some "this must be done" angle, simply trying to wake up the conversation as to where BW has dissappeared to .Neither do I care about me £12, thats nothing, I just want to play on BW again !

Erm. That price is for a subscription in which u get credits to book servers. The 2 reserves slots are for admins.

Well, all BY staff are scousers. They actually have a pretty nice office on Albert Dock, next to the TV studio. I'm jealous.:mad:

erm....I think not, since i was always the one that was getting banned from irc due to jis messing with the bot.

The only people i kicked from the server were the ones that deserved it for been an ass.And jis kept banning himself from the server,by messing with rcon with the wrong password(which i had to change cos tremor announced it on the server).

my main amusements were annoying people who refused to use english on a UK server.

There is nobody worrying at barrysworld or at game.

The fact of the matter is, they didnt even expect so many to have signed up by now as they havent advertised anyhwere, they are pretty chuffed that bw has such a loyal userbase.
But in the bigger picture they are in no way wanting a miracle.
they never expected the servers to be full and to have 50k users by now.
You seem to think this is all badly planned just because you see empty servers.
You really need to understand that sorting this out takes man hours, and plenty of them.
There is no reason to think this is the end of bw, infact its not even the start.
