BMAPC <£400 Base

Hey chaps - looking for a rough guide to build my nephew of 15 a complete cheap base for approx £400. I also need to get him a cheap monitor from somewhere but that won't come out of the budget.

Preferably something with the path of upgradability once he has saved more money for himself. I'm being realistic here I don't expect something that is going to play Crysis 3 at max settings @ 2560x1440. No real preference hardware just something that is going to give good bang for his buck.

Do you have no reusable parts from an old system like hd's, cd rom etc? £400 is a tight budget if you need everything new

To be honest Starmie, not that I've spent ages looking but you're probably better off with a pre-built from somewhere like eBuyer

i couldnt find a 1/2 decent prebuilt system with a 1/2 decent gfx card for less then £500
