Stop with the "it's not our fault" bollocks. Even if it isn't you directly you have to enforce some sort of SLA with your provider for an acceptable level of service.

If you are not enforcing this SLA then its your bloody fault, directly or indirectly. Aside from that, pingplots show its at your end. It sure as HELL ain't your customers fault, so get it sorted.

Sort it out, were paying for a game we cant even play at the moment.

If you've seen that it's coming from Goa then please send in the Pingplot that shows that. As you can see by the tracert directly above your post, PO9-0.pascr1.Paris.opentransit.net seems to be laggy for Healer McHeal, other pingplots I've seen today show problems in London. I'm not going to say there isn't a problem in our network but without information we have no real way to narrow it down. As I said before, teh more info we get the faster it will get resolved whether it's a problem with our network, a problem with another provider or a combination of the two.
That is 1 person who seems to also lag at home too, is that possible? your computer lag?

Requiel im sorry to say but expect a flood of pingplots proving its not a client or client isp problem.

I have just abandoned my Dragon Raid due to EVERYONE (thats 23 ppl) experiencing the worst lag in a long time - quite frankly its appaling and unplayable - constant ld's and death/ld meaning the raid is an utter waste of 2 hours of my time setting it up and 23 ppl coming and spending their evening on it.

These problems were experienced by 23 ppl from all around europe on many different ISP's so how anyone has the nerve to say its possibly not on GOA's network or directly connected ISP is beyond me.

Not true. We pay for hosting and bandwidth to our servers. If a router in London or Amsterdam goes wobbly that's nothing to do with the hosting contract we have and we have no kind of authority to demand it's fixed. We can send the company involved info to show there's a problem but until that proof is forthcoming (to their satisfaction not ours) it won't get fixed. If it is our network we need to see where the problem is - we have no internal reports of problems and many people are not experiencing any lag at all - which is some confirmation that it's most likely a routing issue from outside our network.

If it were possible to fix it immediately we would have done so. It isn't in our interests to have problems like this continue.

Leave the technical shit to the technical people Req. Get them to LOOK at the pingplots and see what they say. Check the last two hops of the plots, see what you think

Just because everyone isn't having a problem doesn't mean you can completely ignore it, does it? Trust me i know i work in the industry, and we sure as hell don't deal with things in this way.

gl pursuading the community its not goa, stop denying this shit and fix it.

The hops that time out will likely jsut be routers set not to respond to pings and not necessarily indicative of a problem. If possible please run Pingplotter or a similar trace-over-time program as it gives a much more complete picture of what is happening than a simple tracert.

I have no grudge with Requiel at all and tbh I wouldn't want his job in a million years I think he gets unbelievable amounts of agro and I think he does a grand job as a "front man" but as he is the public image who replies to us in here I'm not sure who else to address issues to.

I haven't said it's not Goa, in fact I specifically said earlier in this thread that it may well be a problem in our network. There is some evidence that it isn't but I've learnt never to say anything absolutely without absolute proof. We also aren't ignoring it. As I said in my first post to this thread, we are investigating the problem and are trying to sort it out as soon as possible. All information we recieve will be passed on to our network techs and if necessary to third parties as appropriate. I'm not a tech, I can't fix things, all I do is tell you what I know.

were just trying to get him to see that this problem lies within goa network or some router next to it, he is really stubborn atm and refuse to realise this even several ppl showed pingplotters.

We woudnt whine at him if he admited that they had problem and a astimated eta on the fix. The only thing GOA doing atm is wasting time.

At least your reading the threads, thats allways a good sign. Pingplotter results for you with 10 retries, would upload a screenshot but have lost my ftp info o_O i cant send it you by email if you require, this shows packetloss on at least half of the hops :0

yeh this is the worst in a long time constant spikes every 20-30 seconds for 10 seconds or more.

Can we expect a free day for this? Not that it really matters but I do like to think you value us all :D

To be fair asking people to send pingplots? Come on you're providing the service this many people complaining should be enough to make you (not actually yourself of course) start asking questions.

Whole of WoV went LD and we're from all over Europe.
Looks like the whole of Coo Coo went LD (Same as above)

Been lagging for the last day or so, and nothing else lags.

http://www.griffin.com/ = ISP
1MB Line.

Only goes down, and that makes EVERYTHING webbased stop. Only game went down today :) nothing else.
