if u are gonna farm items and shit on ur own then specc:

44 parry
44 hammer/sword/axe
44 LA

or

37 parry
44 hammer/sword/axe
50 LA

but if u are gonna go RvR(like u probably will)

28 parry
50 hammer/sword/axe
50 LA

if ur going RvR then never ever never ever never ever never ever never ever never ever never ever never ever never ever never ever never ever never ever never ever never ever never ever never ever never ever never ever never ever never ever never ever never ever
specc less than 50 LA and 50 mainweapon

parry is unnecessary in RvR cause everyone will stick ur ass and u cant parry ur ass then

Parry is 99% worthless in group fights.

Advanced evade is what saves your ass. :)

believe me i know all bout defense in rvr and imo it works somewhat...


My other question was about moparry the RA :)

What ras for a zerker besides deter and ip/fa2 ???

My dorf chic is 37parry,50axe,44la. This has more defence and still maxed chance to get thru defences when compared 28,50,50.

I wanted max weaponskill (1712 now with max boofs) and some more parry. At duels she does well and rvr too, prydwen isnt so crowded as xcal and fights happen at smaller scale usually. Parry has saved my butt many times already.

RA's: Purge, aug dex 2, auq qui 2, dodger 2, str 2, parry 1, soon IP..then getting det 1.2.3.

Purge seems must. When going vendo...some shield tanks seems to be always close to stop u...np..press purge and massage goes on :p

Dodger works very well too, its nice with 360 evade. :)

Races: dorf/valkyn needs buffs more than troll and norse...easier cap str. I would prolly pickup Norse now if i were doing my zerker again.

hehe ive made a zerker on pryd :) troll without puttin anything in strght :)

Osrim i was kinda hopin for less crowded since im gettin sick to death that even odins is zerged now :)


K so purge is a must on a zerker good to know however the aug quick part???? noway thats seriously damaging u :)

So RVR on pryd is alot smaller??

u hit slow as hell but u hit for fucking great dmg and in some cases u will oneshot casters and 2-3shot other classes

RA... FA, purge, IP then Mastery of Pain... what u need else i dont know but those 4 are the most important thing on a zerker(prolly other tank classes too)

Dodger Passive N/A 1 3 6 10 14 Augmented Quickness 2

Increases chance to evade by 3% per level. = shit and a waste of rsp



Toughness: Increases maximum hit points by 3% per level of this ability. = nice


Mastery of Pain Passive Augmented Dexterity 2
Increases chance to critical with melee attacks by 5% per level. = very good


Determination Passive

Adds a 10% per level(3 lvls) spirit damage-add to non-magical attacks. = nice if u got some spare rsp


Avoid Pain Active 15 min recast Augmented Constitution 3
60 second boost to physical damage absorption, 10% per level per level of this ability. = 10% more absorption is very much

C'mon Byffa, you dont even have 50 lvl char...Im talking experiences here what I have and I know most ppl go for big hits too.

Ckiller, you are apparently going for frontloaded damage with troll.

Zerkers _only_ stun comes from evade too which is good. I have had dodger sometime now and definately wont respec out of it. Actually thinking take lvl 3 laters. And changing 10 points per hit damage to 6% more 360 degree defence? definately.

Purge, I love that RA..only 4 points too.

I have 106 qui atm unbuffed, max buffed around 181 and im getting 800-1k+ hits on casters/support classes when zerged. And I evaide quite much at fights cause evaide dont suffer like parry when grped.

Yep, pryd rvr is smaller scale than xcal. mostly 0.5-2fg roaming around.

so because i dont like lair enough to sit there 24/7 as soon as im 43 i don got experience in the game... if u would have said RvR experience u would be right.. i dont have a fucking clue about what to do in RvR.. only thing i know is that im supposed to charge the healer classes and casters... one thing that i know is that u aint got no fucking time to do after evade/parry/block styles... and u dont need to do that ob casters since they are supposed to go down in one hit from a zerker if the zerker is specced right and it havent wasted valuable imbue points in SC on quickness...

and one thing... Byffa is my first char that i have accepted to take over BG lvl..

and im not gonna waste rsp on dodger when u have to waste like 10-20 points on for it to actually make a difference...

and as u said.. pryd aint that active in RvR
smaller groups means less stress and u might have time to do after evade/parry/block styles there but in 1337 excal RvR u aint got time for that shit as a zerker when ur not really supposed to touch anything else than healing classes and casters.. survive that then go for tanks

I think its a matter of taste really, neway some ppl really wanna hit as hard possible, then they have to sacrifice quickness ;)
In my opiniun zerkers are hitting hard neway, also remember they got evade 3 and advanced evade which are 50% qui and 50% dex based. Evade are one of those things who arent really gimped in rvr like parry :/.

I got bout 210 quickness with qui/dex buff. and currently playing with cleaver + hand axe ( 4.0 +2.4/2 = 3.2 s attack speed)
while 210 qui -50 = 160 = 16% inc attackspeed.
0.16 x 3.2s = 0.51 = 3.2s - 0.51s = 2.69s

Sure in zergs massive frontload dmg is gosu, but in fg vs fg i prefer quickness , its also very nice when taking out casters.
The quickness will lower your dmg cap, but the dot will be the same even alil higher.

well some ppl like qui some doesnt ;) atleast i do

4 points aug qui, 4 points dodger 2 = 8 points for 6% more 360 degree defence...

And all that swearing Byffa...looks like someone forgot take pills at morning.

Ckiller, u have 2 realm respecs at start so use 1 to test things, best way to check what u like.

Luck with training Ckiller, dont forget head malmo as soon as u get to 40 or dunno if u getting pl'd there already, heh. :)

There arent just one way to do things like many seems to think, mostly ppl just assume too much.

As Zerker's RA I would suggest:

1) Purge
2) FA II
3) IP
4) Determination 4-5
5) Avoidance of Magic 4-5
6) Mastery of Pain etc.

Avoidance of magic 4-5, 24 wasted points. Even lvl 3 is getting quite expensive compared to what other skills u can get.
