Yep, he's a gimp!! :D Seen u in emain several times Poon and u r definately a weaker hitting zerker compared to most and drop like a bag of shit. Compare that to sub who in hamster mode has owned my hero on almost every occasion that I have bumped into him. Only time I might survive is if I get a slam in as Sub goes hamster mode :) But now u mids have 2 strength relic, hib scale wearers stand little chance against slash specced zerkers.

Anyways, back to spec advice... 50LA, 50Axe, 28 parry! And yeah as someone else said, dont go hammer!

Well I dont play anymore, but did make a zerker on mid/pryd and I have got to say that they are the most overpowered class I ever played in all 3 realms. Using end buff and damage adds, I was chain killing yellow/orange con mobs and even solo'd a purp mob..... In BGs, noone got me below half health in 1 on 1s, most classes dropped in 2-3 hits and I killed a group of 4 yellow con hibs by myself just with end buff.....never met another class this uber, and they r great fun to play :)

Sure as hell wasnt me that u hit that hard :p Musta been some green con who had some epic armour handed down :rolleyes:

What is the damage cap then for a RR5 zerker with 50 axe and 50LA? Most I ever got hit for by I zerker was about 800 with maxed slash resist.

Parry is crap in rvr so the only spec imo is 50/50/28.
Even 50/44/rest in parry aint worth it for the extra points in parry..

Just to let you know i hold the record for best looking norseman in the history of Midgard and the highest Int stat on a main characters (61, i own you all so badly it hurts!!)

My Pryd zerker (L35 atm) has LA and Hammer at the same lvl, i plan to go 50 Hammer / 50 LA /28 parry (MoParrying makes up for it, my Merc (GIMP!) with lvl 2 gets an additional 6% chance to parry which translates to a +12 parry) .

Use axe or sword for main hand weapon if you want to rip some hibbie tanks apart or hammer if you want to bash some Alb tin cans. Either way if you spec less than 50 weapon/50 LA you are gimped! :wall:

Oh, and one more tip, get a high delay weapon for main hand and a low delay for off hand; it works great but it will drain your end very fast (especially if you use Doublefrost as a main style all the time - i prefer the ravager 3-step combo in PvE though).

Evaluation of the class? Definately more damaging than my Merc... in fact the L35 zerk deals more damage than my L50 Merc, so all the comments are :great: yours ;)

reason that poon is specced so defensive is coz he is a real DEFENDER as in REALM defender ect. he likes to defend defend defend and defend more

I've got a 34 zerker (close to 35) and while i've not yet got into RvR propperly yet, from a PvE point of view, i think that keeping LA maxed is your best choice, this way you get some nice chain styles and will totally kill whatever you are after.

As for the other hand, I've gone for hammer, this way I've got the best of both worlds (crush for plate and reinforced and slash for everything else).

My personal template will be something like Hammer 50, LA 50 and rest into parry.

as for the people that spend points in all the other specs available (28 in hammer, 28 in axe, 28 in sword) for a start - axe and sword both do slash damage anyway, so no point in having both, and the fact that you already have LA means you don't even need it.

The only downside to going for hammer and LA is that it's slighly slower than 2 axes, but i perfer the slower speed because I know as a result the hammer is doing more damage, and it gives me more time between swings to select the style i want.

IMO :)

weaponskill does not affect dmg cap. it affects dmg output though :eek:

....noob, Only one insane noob ass mofo would pick a gimp spec like that, if u want stuff thats gud Vs plate just spec Hammer and LA, not Sword, LA AND Axe, since Sword and Axe both do slash dmg ur WASTING points, OMG THINK!!!!!!!!!

like i said, u can choose from using a sword OR axe, i mean sometimes i feel like having a sword too bash down albs, and mayby sometimes i wanna have a axe.

its all about the looks imo.

and when your in a item lott u can lotto for all items = good, yes? ;>
