You need to sort to formatting ;)

Aside from that I agree with Kalba, kinda nice. Just my suggestion but maybe forgo some of the +skill for better Matter&Spirit resists? Assuming your 50/50, or 44/44 (whatever the standard zerk spec is these days) I can't imagine the +skill would make that huge an impact compared to the extra resist.

1st one is much better IMO: more qui, heat resist.. lower spirit resist but who realy cares... unless u r gonna zerg ^^

Actually, if you are talking about his +11 in hammer and +11 in LA that's very important. Higher skill in hammer will bring his WS up (i'm sure you're familiar with the resoult), and as far as higher LA skills go, he will have less of a damage penatly. So basicly those two things are a must to cap.

As far as parry goes, well imho leave it as it is, not that important.

I like the second template more, but then it also depends on what race you will play imho? Anyway, I have something simular to yours but I chose to ignore the AF bonus and cap my resists (it's been a while since I died to a melee attack, so i'm gonna try and go with higher resists and see how it works, can always switch weapons and get some AF bonus to see if it really has that much of an impact over high resists).

He is gonna be a troll, a small extra note... He will always have the 37% celerity and 17% haste buff available in the group he's playing... Ok, celerity perhaps not always, but I think celerity will be available most of the times...

I'm personally trying to convince him to get rid of some of the quickness and put it into dex / resists...

Because, according to the weaponspeed calculator, with 2x 4.1 spd weapons, he'll cap at around 100 quickness (35 base, 92 from buffs means cap, even without all the +qui in his suit)...

aye that was i thinking to.. if u cap quick u just overcap it so better put it in dex (which is nice for a zerker)

false, quickness is much more important unless u solo a lot and need improved parry.

and Magmatic, celerity has 1K radius. Heal has 2K, beside afair u r gonna play in caster group = more time time to heal/interrupt = less time for celerity.

i'd rather rely on high quickness then perma celerity.

Tbh, I as a troll zerk would try and cap dex/quick before str. Parry is fairly usless in rvr, but evade can be the "i-win" button (stun + zerk + behind chain). Since evade depends on quick as much as dex (if not even more? some say it's 50%/50%, some say it's 66%/33%)

But, taken the fact that he will have a 54% haste available from buffs+celerity (+10% on items), and 35 natural quick as a troll + 77 based on this template his swing speed for DW will be 1.52.

It's a tad close, so loose some quick and add to dex - but I wouldn't over do it, as I think quick is still more important (if nothing else for those times when he won't have buff haste + celerity but only one of them).

The good defence a zerker has is his evade, so imho you want him to evade as much as possible.

The reason why I, as a troll, added more to +cap in quick than in str. But then that's just based on how I play/see myself play. :)

zerker == pure offense -> +11weapon/LA, +2X str cap

no other fuggin way.

PS. Evade is useless while grapled/zephyred

but evade can be the "i-win" button (stun + zerk + behind chain).
Playing my zerker almost till r8l7 and 2+ years i can count all the situations when i stunned target after i had evaded, i consider group rvr only. So plz back off to DF and stop giving "smart advices", Mistah ^^

But what good are "go back to DF", "shut up", "you only have 28k RP stick to PVE" etc., good for a discussion - after all we are here to discuss. That's really important for the discussion at hand.

Oh well, I guess I missed the "for ages between 8-13" banner when I signed up on these boards. :)

but he is right.
Zerk = offence. Period.
If you make steps away from pure offence, you are either dont have enough information, or just roleplaying :)

Well yes I know that, and I agree having as much STR as you can is important. I also agree pluging your weakness points when you are running in a fixed set up group is pointless since others will be there to fill in your weak spots.

I have explained why I choose to add more to quick than in str - it's based on the fact that I play a troll zerker and the fact that I do not run a fixed rvr group so I don't have somebody to plug my weak spots all the time.
I imagine if I would to play a human zerker, I'd forget about quick and put it into str. :) Again..I can not stress more.. me, myself, I. Not advice. :)

My advice was to get more dex and loose some quick.

To quote myself, and clear this matter up:
The reason why I, as a troll, added more to +cap in quick than in str. But then that's just based on how I play/see myself play.

I didn't say "drop str, and put it more into quick/dex". Anyway ... :)

btw Magmatic, VP + 2 pbae from banelords hurt realy. Yesterday our grp got damaged appr. for 1.5K in less then a second from VP and 2 bms - Karnat and Konah.

IMO we'll respec our zerk to banelord asap ;)
