well, you move with controler.

Sword styles are done with controler in right hand
and shield (some sword styles) are done with left hand :)

movement is done by arrow keys

Any good, controller-wise?

*standing in a dilemma figuring out wether to actually buy a winter jacket I got money for this xmas or go buy a Wii and Zelda*

If I do go buy a Wii and Zelda I won't need the jacket as I am 100% that I'll be inside 24/7 playing..

If I on the other hand buy the jacket I'll still need the Wii as I cba being outside all the time..

*runs off to buy a Wii..*

I've completed it three times, no more replay value left now :)

Awesome game, about 50 hours of gameplay if you do *most* of the stuff that there is to do, 70-80 hours if you do it all, without a guide, that is.

The two downsides are that, firstly, I expected more interaction in using the sword with the WiiMote, and secondly, the bosses are totally pathetic if you've ever played a previous Zelda, then the bosses really aren't a challenge at all since they're pretty much the same boss designs all over again, specifically from Ocarina of Time. There is 3 or 4 unique bosses though, I found one only of them challenging.

What kind of interaction like having to pull the sword out of a dead mans body? you swing the sword and he swings, if you choose to sit on your couch and shake your hand when you want to use the sword, then you are selling yourself short of the experience.

I prefer to stand when im approaching conforntation and play it how I would have if I was a child with a sword :)

There hasn't been a challenging boss in games after the seamonster(green big thing) in Final Fantasy 7.

And i dare anyone to challenge that claim :D

Keitan,

The game store near mine had a few in last week, I think they are still being filtered into the stores you just gotta be lucky enough to find out about it.

Phone the local Tesco extra and ask if they have been receiving stock in. Give them a call, ask to speak to the manager and put on a sob story about working full time and being unable to camp out due to something or other and they will add you to a list and call you when they get some in.

Yiazmat on Final Fantasy 12 takes one hell of a beating. The Euro/US version is toned down from the Jap version though, but still a somewhat 5-9 hour fight depending on your gear.

No, I was expecting interaction in such ways that if you were to swing the sword upwards, you'd do an upwards slice, if you swung it sideways, you'd slice sideways, and such. This isn't how it works, the combos are the same every time no matter which direction you swing the WiiMote.

Oh yeah, and the Bow & Arrow/Slingshot (though useless item) aiming is awesome :p

The big green monster was Emerald WEAPON.

As for tough monsters/bosses. Penance takes some beating in Final Fantasy 10 even after maxing stats.

It's not just Final Fantasy where SquareEnix throws in some tough optional bosses, they've put the odd one or two in Kingdom Hearts that are a real nightmare. I also hear that the optional bosses at the end of Star Ocean on the PS2 is tough.
