Yes, it'll be based around an LGA 1150 socket with the processor designed from the ground up to improve power usage which means less power and more performance per watt.

At the present time a leaked roadmap appears to put IVB-E around the same time which includes some tweaks and I personally also hope that the current information is a little wrong and, depending on power, they'll release a 8 core version but I also hope they return to the SB method of soldering the IHS to the die rather than the crap method of using paste.
