Zarjazz will be along with the specs a bit later, suffice to say, it's fucking powerful and fast....

does that case expose the motherboard ports on top or is that a pic of the back at a funny angle?

I was thinking the same thing; the case is either the wrong way up and it's been put on its front or it's got some fucking bizarre layout that has the motherboard back panel facing directly upwards. It looks like there's a cover that goes on top of the back panel (because of the raised bits at top and bottom and the Lian-Li-esque clips either side of the PSU) but still... wtf.

It *looks* like it's laying on its front, with PSU at the top, drive enclosures at the bottom, and the mobo in the middle, with those 3 fans sucking air in from the front.

Ports are exposed on the top (behind a bezel) and the cables route out of a hole at the rear, we were confused at first too :)

I was going to copy my old machine HDD (which died) to this new system but it just blue screens. So a clean install is required. Still messing around with drivers and software reinstalls atm but its up and running now. Oh and the CPU speed lies, its actually O/C to 4.4GHz :)

Psh, why spunk all that on a E-ATX, Socket 2011 motherboard and then "only" get the quad core CPU for it? :)

And seriously, what's the case?

The 6 core CPU's are slower per core and because most games struggle to use 2 cores, let alone four; it's better to get a faster MHz with 4 cores than 6 that are slower and typically 50% idle at best. Also that CPU overclocks well. I think I get it to 4.8+Ghz with more aggressive settings.

Case is this - http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=242

Sadly I have to use mine for actual work and I write server side apps so I need a boatload of cores to test multi threading performance locally.

I've got a 3820 as well, I intended it as a gap filler at the time until the IVB-E processors appear although that gap is slighty bigger than originally planned.
