Just a solution I found, lately I've noticed that when viewed in Chrome, YouTube audio is out of sync, by a significant fraction of a second.
The solution is to navigate to chrome://plugins/ and disable Shockwave Flash 11.3 r31. Then go to YouTube, click the "install Flash" button that takes you to the Adobe website, install Flash and problem solved.
Just thought it worth mentioning, it was driving me mad.
