Life of Brian
Animal House (every other 'teen' movie is a pale imitation)
Carry on Up The Khyber (the only Carry On that still makes me laugh)
The Man With Two Brains
Trading Places

Every film with Adam Sandler in it, with the possible exception of the Wedding Singer, is shit.

Steve Martin is a genius. His early films are hilarious.

Which begs me to ask, WHY AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO VOTED FOR PLANES TRAINS AND AUTOMOBILES!!1!!!

I'm more worried by the fact that he thinks "Crouching hidden tiger" is a film let alone a comedy.

Sounds more like an item for a documentary of a large cat taking a shit in the bushes !

Mafia (I think this is what it was called, havn't seen it in ages. It's a spoof of mafia films, The Godfather etc.)

Is that with Sly? If so it's called Oscar.

Excellent, didn't know about that film. Seems to have nearly the entire cast of Spaced in it. Should be good.

I'm a fan of older comedies. Some of the Ealing stuff was genius. Terry Thomas should go down in cinema history as one of the great comic actors (or at least one of the most iconic).

Most of the stuff Will Hay did looks pretty awful now but if anyone's seen Where's That Fire? they'll remember the scene where they try and get a new fireman's pole into their station... one of the best comic setpieces I've ever seen.

Some of this stuff is reflected in the list below:

Duck Soup (the best Marx Brothers film)
Dumb and Dumber (for the kid in all of us. The bit where Harry hits the woman in the face with the snowball is just classic.)
Withnail and I
Kind Hearts and Coronets (the best Ealing comedy)
Life of Brian (mainly for the Biggus Dickus scene I guess :))
