Well I was wondering given choice from all musicians eveeeeeeeeeer, who you would all pick to make a band :p

I was thinking something like -

Lead singer - Randy Blythe from Lamb of God
Guitar 1 - Kerry king
Guitar 2 - Not sure of his name because the band seems to of gone thru so many guitarists, but the guy who played on some of Carcass's later work :p
Bass - Lemmy \m/
Drums - Raymond Herrera from Fear Factory

Hurrah ;s

I think this may have been done before.

Vocals: Morrissey (Smiths)
Guitars: Lee Ranaldo and Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth)
Bass: Peter Hook (Joy Division)
Drums: Fyfe Ewing (early Therapy?)

with a different vocalist, they'd sound cool as fuck. A dirty type of hard indie rock with lots of swirling guitars, spleen bending bass and random drum rhythms.

Bass - Who gives a fuck? I mean really? Just drag some hairy neanderthal in off of the streets. Anyway, who ever remembers the bassist? Do people listen to a Jimi Hendrix record and say 'Bloody hell, now that's good bass!'? Who were the most famous members of the Rolling Stones? Not the fucking bassist, that's for sure. Who cares about the sodding bassist? Well, OK, maybe if you're some muso saddo that goes to metal concerts with the specific intention of wanking over a ten minute bass-solo. But, other than that, NO FUCKER CARES ABOUT THE BASSIST!

Heh, agreed. :)

When I picked Keith Moon, I wasn't thinking purely of his drumming ability. The man was a monster.

:)

Funnily enough, about 4 years ago I saw a band made up entirely of bass players. Five of the buggers in fact. They were called 'Big Bottom' and were supporting Merzbow at The Rocket in Holloway Road.

Wonder what branch of McDonalds they are working in now.......
