Nice.

I aint even got my first yet, as I have finished lessons but not actually done my test.

When I get the cash sorted I have no idea what to get.

Best thing I can get for £1000-£500

Old corsa maybe, perhaps a volvo estate (loltank)

Been looking at some Evo VIs, cant afford anything newer and wont get stung with the £475 a year tax for it seems its registered before 2001. Considering keeping my 307 for another year aswell and saving up a bit cash.

I agree with Amphrax, I'd really like a Focus RS, but could probably only afford an ST.

Either that or a nice 3 series beamer.

I had the old Focus RS, it drove like a rusty shopping trolley after six months - it has really loose and vague steering up to about 60 mph and then after that terrible torque steering. I absolutely hated that car. Ford customer support is horrific too.

Since i don't own a car atm and i'm not planning on getting one for a long time, i can safely say i'll either get a;

lamborghini-countach-lp400-s.jpg

(Which is't that costly to get, rather cheap)

or the new M1(still in concept, but there's time);

There's a lot more though, but all are in the same direction in looks.

Surely you would want one of these?

i've actually driven one for about 20 minutes.

its cheap for a damn good reason.

it's an absolute nightmare to drive so the only use you would have with it is as a showcar in the garage.

Best option would be to kit some car with the body.

My first fast car was an 1800cc Turbo championship RS Turbo, it
was built by Malcolm Wilson motorsport and had a blow through turbo running 9 psi, this was before any turbo fords were officially on the road and in it's day it was silly fast, full 14 point rollcage, door bars, seam welded, ferguson diff (again a first on the road). Hydraulic handbrake, sparco seats.

It rewrote the book for years around our way with the boy racers, till the Escort Cosworth started appearing.

Ah those were the days.

I have driven some good cars in the past ... Coming from Mini Cooper (new one) , to BMW1, Audi A3 (my favorite of the list) and now Mercedes B. If I had to chose (which i can't because i get the car from work) i would always go for Audi from now on.
My absolute dream car of the moment is the new audi A5.

It's an Audi S5

I already have a car, so I'm only waiting to finish studies and get a job. I'm aiming for D.I.N.K., so money shouldn't be an issue.

If I happen to get into a really good job, then it's gonna be the following. It's still not that expensive, but more expensive than the S5 ;) I present: The Lexus RX 450h

The only problem I really have is, that a good job for interpreters is working for the automobile industry and of course you can't buy an Audi if you work for Mercedes.
