Those games apart from 4 which I could never get into were brilliant, I sometimes even play HoMM3 now :p.

Loads of time spent in no particular order or games format:

Mario Clart
Sensible Soccer
UO
DAoC
Double Dragon
Target Renegade
Counterstrike + Now Source
Civ
WoW - Playing BG again :p
Unreal Tournament + Mods
Commandos 1 + 2
Dizzy games - All of them, tho I admit to using guides :/

and many more that I can't remember right now, makes me wonder just how many days/years I have spent playing games :twak:

Agree, HoMM4 sort of lost the feeling that was in the others, dunno why though. :)

Not even gonna go into listing games. I've played them since '82, was born in '79, do the math :D

First game ever - Pong, the home entertainnment system that had games from...pong to...pong and also...pong.

Been playing ever since, and nowadays i play anything that peeks my mind.

In my "spare time", i make games for work, been in the industry for 5 years, from graphic artist, to quality assurance, to designer and now a lead designer.

It's could be said that...i live to game and game to live.

EDIT: Also i like to have wild monkey sex. Alone or in good company.

Funny not a single EQ player yet, ;)

oh and gamblor i asked for games you played for prelonged periods of time, not every game you ever played, and if that is a list of your all time favorate long term games,

in that case..stand up..yes this might take a while, and stand still till your legs get a grip of this standing thing, now walk to the window "you know that thing behind the dark certin ?" right now you might want to get some shades before doing the next step, got your shades on ? ok now slowly move the certin to one side..dont be scared, it's alright.! you are now looking at something called the real world.! yes it's true it's not fiction.! you'll discover wonderfull things like the sun, wind, and other people :p

soz ;) not ment as a flame btw just messing with ya abit, nice list m8

Atari 7800 console:Breakout and various other crappy games that i spent hours and hours with. Like this:

2b.jpg

Nice gfx huh?!?!

NES:Metroid (Almost my all-time favourite console game if you measure how much i enjoyed it at the time.)

C64: Countless hours on IK+ with my mates, Defenders of the Crown countless hours alone, same with Moonstone (And with friends).

Amiga and Atari ST: Loads of shit.

PC: I used to MUD for a few years starting around 1995 up to about 2001. For you who doesn't know what a MUD is, you could say it's kind of a text-only MMO (It stands for Multi-User Dungeon) and was usually free to play, but there were some that required you to pay too. Usually like 1£/month :)

I also liked Age of Empires 1 a LOT and played it with my friends for ages, even after AOE 2 came out :)

And, ofc, DAOC (And pretty much all other MMO's but none have been as fun as DAOC.

Just a small sample of the games i've enjoyed over the years, feels like i could write an essay about videogaming hehe...

errrrrr were to start....... the 1st game i can ever really rember playing at home was space invaders on the Atari 2600, and the 1st multiplayer game would be pong or some tank game that you would go round a maze and try and blow the hell out of each other also on the Atari 2600.

Then came the the specky (Spectrum 48k-128k) what a peice of crap but in the early 80's it was shit on a stick with its 8 colours & 3.5 MHz cpu but boy it had games like, Ant attack, Manic miner & Knights lore they were the dogs bulls of there time.

Any way to cut a long & dull story short a few faves:-

Sensible soccer - Amiga
Elite - Spectrum
Street fighter 2 - Megadrive/Snes
Thundeforce 4 - Megadrive
Toejam & Earl - Megadrive
Metal Slug - Neo-Geo
Monkey island series - Amiga/PC
Doom series - PC
Quake Series - PC
Unreal Series - PC
Goldeneye - N64
Final Fantasy 7 -Playstation
IK+ -C64
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis - Amiga

There is really to many to name but since 81ish when i 1st have any recollection of exsiting there has been games so ive played shit loads all of wich are worth a mention if only i could rember them :).
