depends a bit on what I saw most recently, and how my memory functions, I guess. some movies that spring to mind:

The Matrix
Braveheard
So Fucking What
(Yes, that's a movie. I'm not cursing you because we already had this a few times)

Too many good ones to narrow it down to one.

Memento

but it changes every 10 minutes when I forget what I used to like...

Usual Suspects is also superb (far better if you saw it before everyone was talking about it though... saw it when it came out thinking 'ooh cool film' rather than 'who is keyser soze?' so the whole film was playing tennis with my head :))

Aliens ,I'm afraid.

Hudson did it for me.

You've got to read these thinking of that physcotic, high pitched, scared shitless voice he had in the film.

"Hey, maybe you haven't been keeping up on current events, but we just got our asses kicked pal!"

Private Hudson: Hey Vasquez, have you ever been mistaken for a man?
Private Vasquez: No, have you?

"Well that's great, that's just fuckin' great man, now what the fuck are we supposed to do? We're in some real pretty shit now man... That's it man, game over man, game over, man! Game over! What the fuck are we gonna do now? What are we gonna do? "

Private Hudson: Seventeen days? Look man, I don't wanna rain on your parade, but we're not gonna last seventeen hours! Those things are gonna come in here just like they did before. And they're gonna come in here...
Ellen Ripley: HUDSON! This little girl survived longer than that with no weapons and no training, right?
Private Hudson: So why don't you put her in charge?

Lt. Gorman: I'm coming in.
Private Hudson: I feel safer already.

I would have to say Lord of the Rings. I had such a great time watching that move on the premier, never had the same feeling with another move... ever.

But dunno if i can really narrow it down to just one movie, there's so many good ones out there.

Aliens
Pulp fiction
Blackhawk down
A few good men
The Rock
Boys in the hood
The breakfast club

an many, many, many, more

well blade runner is the film i can recite by heart. i love eveything about that film: the syle, the dialogue, the characters etc

but i'd name 5 that have really stuck in my mind:

Faithless (swedish)
Rear Window
Fifth Element
The Eel (japanese)
Rumblefish

pretty odd selection, but i could watch these over and over :D

I think the big lebowski and the usual suspects are the only films I can watch again :)

I get very bored with most films the second time around.

Lord of the rings was too dull for my taste :)
Long soliloquay ahead - quick, bring on some dramatic backgrounds..

ok, big fight scene time..

don't get me wrong... they're good... but they're not gonna make my favourites :)

Usual Suspects, The Matrix, erm... Blade Runner too .. I dunno maybe some others too, depends on what people remind me about. I've seen too many to remember them all at once.

it's really difficult to name one film that's your 'favourite'. especially when the films cross genres. so i'm gonna name more than one :D

sci-fi genre.. hmm can't choose between blade runner (directors cut ofc) and aliens (directors cut again).

comedy.. the big lebowski or pulp fiction, both movies are so cool and funny :)

psycho-fucked-up movie.. battle royale no doubt (but it's very good tho).

action.. hmm alot of cool movies here.. the killer, the matrix, the boondock saints..

and the movie 'gladiator'.. god that film was awesome.

Ooh, yeah.. add Gladiator to mine too.

And some crappy B&W war films with bad acting and badly synched audio track, patriotism Hollywood Style rocks.

Fear and loathing in Las Vegas (one of the most fucked up movies ever)
Clockwork orange
Pulp fiction
