as the title says this is your fave personification of a fictional char, thus there can be no wrong answers, there may be answers you disagree with but at the end of the day its the posters opinion not yours so ner!

some people who imo have utterly captured the character of the person they are portraying to such a degree that whenever you think of the char you think of them are (for me) :

david suchet as pirot
jeremy brett as sherlock holmes
christopher reeve as superman
hugh jackman as wolverene

i can't think of any more right now but that may have something to do with the fact my sleeping pill is kicking in and i'm almost off to button moon ^^

anyhoo who are yours?

My favorite personification of all time has to be Craig Charles as Lister from Red Dwarf :D He just sums the character up for me. Same goes for rimmer but to a slightly lesser extent I think.

But surely this contradicts your idea tha hes replaceable?

Not at all.

You see, there's the dark series of batman(dark knight) and the "funny" batman(original movies). I always preferred the dark ones, and the darker Joker.

My favourite superhero from -10 old, as i would say(fun at interviews).

Heath is the only one who has been on screen as the dark joker, therefor, he is the best in my opinion as i have no other to choose from.

Noone can be number one befre they've been challenged.

-10? you were born at least 9 years and 3 months before you were due to be conceived? :p

anyway, I loved Gillian Anderson playing the voice of Moro in Princess Mononoke (if that counts).

Swiss Tony by Charlie Higson
Mark Corrigan by David Mitchell
Alan Johnson by Paterson Joseph

Oh ok...maybe i got it wrong i thought that the question is actors who have played a character that no-one else would be as good as. :)

That's what makes Heath kinda tricky, as this is "best choice" essentially, and he's the only choice for me :D
