This should be interesting. Think of your favourite footall team, then I want you to pick your dream 11. They can be anyone who has ever played for your team. I'll start us off. My team is Arsenal so my dream 11 are as follows:

Goal:
David Seaman

Defence:
Tony Adams
Martin Keown
Lee Dixon
Sol Campbell

Central midfield:
Patrick Viera
Cesc Fabregas

Left wing:
Robin Van Persie

Right Wing:
Ian Wright

Strikers:
Thierry Henry
Dennis Bergkamp

There we go, your turn.

The spanish setup used to win gold, think it was the Euro-cup or something? In 2008.

Cal, you seem to have missed the bit where he said, "they can be anyone who has ever played for your team"

I've seen Wright playing right wing many times. He was always very good in the position. not as good as up front maybe but then I won't leave him out of my team and the strikers I chose are better than him.

Ian Wright often played right wing, well, not so much as an out an out winger, but drifted in from the right.

Nope. Adams was always a centre back. Except for that one time where he appeared from nowhere to score with a left foot volley. That was just weird!

However, I seem to remember Keown playing left back on occasion and doing it just as well as his usual role. Might be wrong there though.

:p Thats the beauty of these lists. I have left out so many greats. And when I look at your team the guy I always feared the most from Arsenal Overmars, I don't think the premier league has seen one like him since he left. He was superb.

Now you see I always thought Overmars was overrated.

Hmm, I'll give this a go....

Peter Shilton

Brian Laws --- Viv Anderson --- Des Walker --- Psycho

Martin O’Neil --- Keane --- Cohen --- Brian Roy

Sherringham (so wanted Clough jnr)

Collymore

Quite wanted Halaand in there to see if he & Keane would just kick lumps out of each other. Cohen had to go in as he's the best of the bunch atm if you ask me.

Manger would have to be the legend.

Lol I can't believe I fucking forgot Pires, the amount of Goals Arsenal scored from their own box with him being invovled in a set of about 3 passes wos unbelieveable. With that in mind Overmars would have to be sub.

I didn't think of Pires either. Now I have a quandry, I really want Wright in the team but Pires was indeed ace!

I think Overmars was the better player but Pires was with us longer so made more of an impact
