It's got tints on the side rear, and rear window, a spoiler and alloys ;p

I love how your front wheel is fine, but the rear one is trashed.

In fact only the rubber is thrased, the alloy wheel is intact. Think it should have been punctured during the crash.

Btw, if you are interested, im selling a pack of 4 17" alloy wheels in good state for a cheap price :p

A custom ford with the roof chopped off, a rollbar installed and the machine under the hood turned ridicilous.

Probably a good job you don't drive then. :)

My first car was a Austin Metro 1.1L, but because all it was was a shell, wheels and engine it could seriously shift. Once we could see the road through the floor of the passenger foot well we decided it was time to get rid of it. Had another metro after that 1.3L but it had all the electrics (windows, sunroof, decent(ish) sound system) it meant it was slow as shit.

Punishment I can vouch for that type of diesel you are looking at. I've had my VW Bora TDI ST 130 for about four years now, and it's the perfect commuter.

Car is for practical purposes, Suzuki SV650Sport is for fun.

VW Golf Synchro (4 wheel drive); Vauxhall Tigra x 2 (hey, I should have been a hair dresser!); Ford 206 GTi; Citroen C3 Pluriel (temporary insanity is my plea); Audi A3 2ltr 4 x 4 turbo with alllllll of the extras you could imagine and now a Polo 1.2 FSI.

Nice cars are too expensive to keep on the road in the UK imho. Road tax is stupid, insurance is expensive and petrol prices are stupid. At my grand old age of 42 I'd rather have more money in my pocket than spending it on the motor.

My first car was a banana yellow Mk II Carpi with the tinted headlight covers and the vinyl roof. It had a stereo in it that was worth three times the value of the car at the time (Capri's are bloody expensive in good nick now). I drove until it quite literally fell apart on the M62.

Had new cars every three years since then - currently have an audi a5 coupe, which is a bit crap if I am honest, but I got a very good deal on it.

Y reg 16 Ghia Escort mk 3, it was lush, my first car but i wrote it off

D reg 16 Ghia Escort mk 4, it was shit, had it about 8 months and traded it in for...

E reg RS Turbo Escort, it was great, sold it as a deposit for my house

X reg XR3 (not 'i') totally stripped and re-built it myself, engine, respray (which i did myself on my drive on a baking hot July summers day) I sold it and the guy who bought it wrote it off within a month, pissed me right off, all my hard work

G reg RS Turbo Escort, wasn't the same as the first one, sold it within 6 months

Went 8 years with no car, then i got

P reg Golf VR6, best car i had, i loved it, but i wrote that off too

56 MINI GP special edition, only car i got brand new, it was mental. Had it a year and sold it to start my business

Current car is a 02 ST170 Focus.....and i hate it, i dont think i have washed it for over a year tbh

I got it through a dealer I found on Auto Trader, I'd been looking at various diesels (Golfs, A3, Astras, Leons etc..) and suddenly spotted this, took it for a test drive and was smitten.

I'm only 26 (50,000 miles in a Punto diesel means alot of mileage money from work) and as I need business insurance (without this I can't claim mileage off work) and live in Manchester insurance is fairly high (although less than my first Punto quote and TBH it's not that prohibitive) - I get about 550-600 miles out of a tank (about 40-45MPG), if I drove properly I'd probably get closer to 50MPG.

The main expense on parts is tyres, run flats are £200+ and normal ones are £160, it's got the M sport pack (lowered suspension, nicer wheels, front/rear spoiler) and I believe this gives it slight negative camber so tyre wear can be excessive [at least that's what the Kwik-Fit man said, I got about 25-30k miles out of the rears] - Most of my mileage is paid for thankfully

Currently carless as I am hopefully taking delivery of a 1960s Lotus Elan Coupe in the next few weeks. I will add a photo once it's in the garage.

Previous highlights include a Mini and Rover Metro (I loved those cars, but they were bloody dangerous, I spun the mini a few times and drove the metro into the back of a BMW) and then there was a lovely MK2 Golf which a minicab driver smashed into :<
