The other night i was positive i left the car open so i went back to lock it, walking back to the house this woman walked past looked right at me and went "excuse me" looked a little worried. I then noticed someone behind her and she looked at me funny.

I thought something isnt right here and was worried about the woman. So i watched her walk away, and the person was still following her, walking right behind her.

So i decided to get in the car and drive past them, the woman got level with me then i stuck my head out and asked her if everything was ok, she replied yeah, so i said "ok i just thought you said something back there just wanted to make sure you were ok" or something along those lines. Then the look she gave me, it was as if i just asked her for anal sex!

Makes me see why people just keep their heads down and dont help each other if thats the response you get from someone who could have been in trouble!

its sad but true, people dont like to help others. usually because they cba but theres also the legal side. if you were fucked up and someone helped you, theyve made a choice to take responsibility to care for you and if something else happened, they could of ended up in prison.

the law doesnt help at all. imo it penalises for choosing to help.

I don't like London fullstop to be honest but a big part of the reason why is the rudeness of many people there. You generally find that it isn't the true cockneys though but more the middleclass londoners who will barge past you and never apologise.

Oh and the buses, generally in Manchester 95% of the people on the bus will thank the driver as they are getting off the bus. I rarely see that in London, people treat the bus drivers like some kind of pesants who should not be spoken to. About 7 years ago I was working in London for 3 months and used the buses daily, one morning we were running really late and as we were getting off the bus of the passengers getting off the bus said to the driver 'drive faster next time arsehole!' and stormed off the bus. Now this wasn't some loudmouthed scumbag kid, this was a bloke in a suit with a briefcase and a £50 haircut. I was dumbstruck by what I heard but alot of the other people getting off the bus just laughed and nodded in agreement.

That kind of shit really makes me hate London.

Had lots of incidents while living in London with helping people out. The first time was like 20 years ago, we heard a woman screaming for help at like 3am and when i say screaming i mean she was loud as fook, so we called the cops. This went on for about five mins and noone went to help her so me and my two older brothers went out to see what was wrong. We found two fucking twats raping a woman in the car park just across the road from our house

They tried to scare us off as we were all teenagers but after we started picking up branches from trees and stones they got the message. Naturally the woman was grateful and the police being there usual helpful selves turned up about a hour later.

Another time me and a mate were walking down oxford street at like 2am coming back from a club and we saw this couple having a really fucked up row. Anyway we just stood to one side and watched just incase as the guy was acting really aggressive. After about a minute of abuse the guy turned around and properly knocked this woman out and when i say properly i mean he must have punched and kicked her like 5-6 times in the face and then ribs while she was on the floor.

My mate and I ran over to the guy and were like matey take it easy she is a woman ffs what you doing and the dickhead started giving us aggro as well. The next thing i know he is swinging at me at which point i deceided to rearrange is face for him asking him in the process if he thought i was a little girl that was going to roll over and play dead.

Any how his Gf comes round and believe it or not started attacking me as well, was really fucked up and she was swearing and being abusive etc. The police finally arrived and i explained to them what had happened. The stupid cow wanted to get me knicked for helping her out and the policeman was like "look love these two guys just saved yer arse" was fucking sad tbh.

I made the mistake of not helping out someone in trouble once before and i gave myself such a hard time afterwards that i swore never to walk away from a person in need of help. Eevn if it turns out that is not needed.

we pay exorbitant prices for a sub par service, i think people are tierd of it all tbh
For example, this morning the train times have changed,
they moved "off peak" (when its cheaper) from 9:35 to 9:45, now this might not seem like much but they also decided to remove the 9:36 train and replace it with a 9:26 and a 9:50 service.
The result you no longer can buy an off peak card if you are on the middle ground as they force you to either be late for work or take the earlier train,
result i now pay £7.50 extra a day to get to work.
While this may not be the staff's fault and i sympathise with them but they are the customers point of contact with the company. When the 2 trains a hour (down from 4) are late every day so far, even my patience is somewhat thin

it may be something to do with the fact that if someone helps you, you die, they will be sued by the family of the deceased
I would help anyway personally but i can see why people wouldnt

theoretically, if your not a first aider and end up making the situation worse would you be procecuted?

yeh they would. once you assume a duty of care of someone then anything that fucks them up is your fault. untill that duty is discharged the person is your responsibility i.e. i help you, keep you safe then an ambulance comes to pick you up. then youre in the hands of the medics.

they tried to help. the defendants were hard of hearing, none too bright and one of them had no sense of smell apparently. but they TRIED to help and failed, therfore they were convicted. the point is, they took on the duty of care. if you do that for someone and it goes tits up, you could goto prison.
