actually i want some information about tooth related dreams.

I've had them and my bf has had them and it turns out quite a few people at college have had them, where your toothy pegs either get broken or fall out or crumble, its really distressing and i was wondering how common this dream is and *cough Blackjack* can anyone decode it?

Many thanks :D

I once had those "tooth is falling out" dreams too, so I looked it up in a book. It said: "If you´re dreaming of losing teeth, you are going insane."
No BS, that´s what it said. :/

Ahh, one of my absolute most hated dreams.
Tooth related dreams can have several causes and/or meanings :)

lets start with the crumble, crumble would could signify rotten teeth. Which can indicate that a lie or a statement is comming back to bite you in the ass. Maybe some sort of lie may be catching up to you.

Loose teeth, teeth falling out dreams. Sometimes come from bad news, or failures in your wake life. This is probably why some people at college are having them.
The simple fear of falling short, maybe they are struggeling to keep up or did poorly on a test.

Shattering teeth.. ok; if you actually feel pain during the shattering of the teeth in your dream. You might be grinding your teeth in your sleep or have tense jaw muscle that can cause some unwanted contractions during sleep and you end up with a dream where your mouth clamps shut and presses until your teeth shatter from the pressure (in the dream)

General on teeth dreams :)
alternatively your teeth dreams concerns appearance. Perhaps you’re worried about your physical attractiveness to others. The fear of getting older maybe <Pokes Ez>

Teeth dreams are very common and are often seen as a metaphor for physical appearance :) But without knowing your exact dreams it's hard to tell.

Believe it or not, whether you are scared when falling in your dream makes a difference. I'll go under the assumption that you are. So;
It probably indicates a lack of control. Perhaps you are insecure about a certain aspect of your waking life. Maybe you feel like, a task you have is overwhelming.
Could also mean that you have failed to accomplish a goal of some sort.

On the other hand it could just mean that you feel you are lacking support from the people around you.

Falling dreams are also quite common :) Due to the nature of the metaphor.

Do you feel like the pavement have any special significance? or is it just there to represent a pretty definitive end to the falling? :)

Ive got that tooth falling out dream also.. Pretty nasty :)

Its like i have some kind of accident and damage my teeth :/

and btw, analyzing dreams is quite odd really, since youre assuming that your subconsciousness handles symbols etc the same way your consciousness does. Like consciously associating a certain color with a certain feeling, while it might just as well mean something totally obscure like 'wonder how a chicken might fit in a couple of stockings'

Since blackjack seems knowledgable in this area wondering if you could perhapse explain this one to me:

I usually get dreams like this early after I've just fallen asleap something bad is going on what dosn't really seem to be constant just anything unplesant and it feels like I'm consciously trying to wake myself by moving limbs mostly my arms eventually it seems like I'm sucsessful and lying in my bed however this is still a part of my dream this cycle can happen 2 or 3 times before eventually waking up.

It always freeks me out and happens quite often and is quite bizarre as normally in a dream it feels real but in this instance I'm very aware it is a dream then suddenly I feel I'm awake and its real but its not!

Am I just fucking weird or what? :p

Google is your friend

To dream that you have rotten or decaying teeth, forewarns that your health and/or business is in jeopardy. You may have uttered some false or foul words and those words are coming back to haunt you.

To dream that you are brushing your teeth, signifies your level of confidence, struggles and aggressiveness. You need to be more look out for yourself.

It's a light version of something called Lucid Dreaming.
Dreaming while maintaining the knowledge that you are infact not awake. It's something that can be explored with abit of training :) Nothing like the feeling you get when you know you can do anything. :)

Remember I dreamt some sick things when I was younger, like me being a very small, fragile thing and constantly, and actually get the feeling of getting crushed by huge stone things, was so terrible.
