Has anyone had that reply before of one of the merchants in DF?

I have 73 emerald seals in my inventory and still cannot buy a 32 seal rapier.

I have relogged, dropped the seals and picked them up again, but so far nothing works.

Any ideas?

Well....this is with my level 32 VW, but it might have something to do with the fact that I cannot actually USE a rapier?

I had the same thing with my Chanter at the weekend when I was trying to buy Broadswards for salvage with diamond seals.

Looks like it might be a bug associated with your class not being able to use the item.

Bah! It's even more annoying knowing that I did buy TWO rapiers, but can't buy any more

there is this thing that you can't buy stuff that you can't use the normal way. very anoying when your salvager is a mage.

the thing you have to do is:

mark the item you wanna buy
drag the icon of the item down to the buy button
click the buy button
repeat

very anoying if you are gonna buy a few weapons of the same sort. i'd rather have a popupwindow saying "You can not use these item/s. Are you sure you want to buy them? Yes - No".
