...for an 'esteemed leader' of a 'successful' government, he really doesn't like being asked pertinent questions, does he?

YouTube - Brown strop

he's got a point tho - we shouldnt judge him on anything except execution of policy imo.

if he's a raging homo with a giant ego, so be it, as long as he can do whatever he sets out to do.

btw - I'm not a fan of his policies, just defending the principle of the office.

Wrong! Time and time again parties have been voted in on the strength of their leader's personality. Labour only managed to get in last time around because Tony Blair seemed the better choice over Michael Howard. By that I mean I don't think the majority of the voting public actually bother reading the policies of any party and allow the media to judge the parties for them, and as the bbc was heavily on the side of labour last time around they kept playing that Michael Howard interview with J Pax to try and demonise him.

Nobody would have voted for labour had Brown been in charge last time around, that's why they campaigned the way they did with this "deal" in place. The guy is not only incompetant, but he's a arrogant smug prick who thinks he can't do anything wrong, and therefore cannot connect with the public at all.

you got it in one dave personality is everything in politics most people simply arent interested in politics so they go with the more charasmatic candidate, that appears on tv and lets face it brown is about as charasmatic as vomit

did used to be a big labour supporter but since this guy took over ive found my dislike for the party growing and growing he just doesnt seem to know what hes doing.

Even Cherie Blair thought Brown was an insufferable, self-important dick and she must have pretty low standards.

Bye-bye Gordon \o/

That's entirely the problem with New Labour. Nobody asks them to do any of their shit, they just do it.

That's not true, they are under huge lobbying pressure from industry to pass a lot of legislation. Most people on the street dont want it but it's "wanted".

There are many reasons I want Labour to lose, but the most pressing at the moment is my complete and utter hatred of Harriet Harman.

I don't like that first video. Dick or not, it shows him storming out after the interviewer says something - looks awful, like he's a rockstar or something.

Second video shows the context of him having finished the interview, and getting up.

Fuck politicians, but fuck journalists as well.

Actually I thought the second clip put him in an even worse light than the first; petulance isn't dignified and the questions were valid whether he liked them or not (do we need to know if the most powerful man in the country is on anti-depressants? Yes, we do).
