This looked cool for school use - the general use of tablets has rocketed for data use (yes teachers now stand there at the front of a class with a tablet in their hand)

Then I saw that keyboard.

Nopey nope nope

How good or bad the keyboard is depends on what you'll be using it for. If you use a tablet with an onscreen keyboard, it's an obvious improvement (more conventional arrangement and it doesn't take up any space on the screen) but if you do a lot of typing it will slow you down. The large built-in Wacom tablet is a definite plus for creative types.

I came to this thread to find out about stretching and mindfulness. What a disappointment.

I keep a book where I file printed copies of my creep-shots of women in yoga pants that I take as they get on the bus as they get out of the gym. I call that my yoga book too. Is that of interest?

Lenovo Yoga Book review: the unbearable lightness of computing

Looks really interesting but I'll pass until a v2 that is a bit quicker, has USB-C and a bigger SSD. Also not sure why they customised Android themselves instead of basing it on Remix OS. Google's Android/ChromeOS might be worth waiting for too. Still, nice idea.

Android falls apart on larger form factors. ChromeOS might be OK but lacks the apps to take advantage of the form factor. Read a review of this the other day and the summary was there isn't an OS out there that can maximise the benefits of the form factor. It reminds me a bit of Microsoft's stillborn Courier
