fooooking HOT

Place is nice - rental car is a POS. trying to persuade the guy thats got it on hire to take it back and get a proper pimpmobile

Food is superb (Papasitos, Saltgrass Steakhouse). Out for ANOTHER mexican tonite (avoid cramped spaces with me tomorrow Phaaaaarrrrpppp!!!)

all in all its pretty good (pool party on Sat night)

Only prob is - gotta work to about 7pm most nights.

The thing he doesn't mention is that he only works from 9am US time, to 7pm UK time.

IE about 5 mins :p

Best thing is (and follow me here)

Checked into the hotel (kinda apartent hotel) and asked for a soking room. Guy assigned me the room and I trooped up, to find that they were still steam cleaning the carpet.

"No probs" I thought. By the time I finish unpacking, they should have finished. SO I start unpacking wile the guy is doing the cleaning in the other room. The guy doing the cleaning must have spoken to the manager/reception because about 5 minutes later the guy who checked me in arrived in the apartment with a pitcher of beer to apologise for sending me to a room that was still being cleaned.

Well chuffed I was. (bloody pissed as well)

Ive always wanted to go to America, (Well abroad anywhere) but have yet to get a Passport etc... wanna go somewhere like New York / Florida heh

We went to Toronto a few years back and in one restaurant we had our starter, and waited for our main course. It was quite nice really, the starters there are HUGE, so it was nice to let them go down a bit.

We were just wondering when the mains would arrive when they did, we tucked in quite happily. Next thing we know the manager pulls up a chair and sits down with us. He could not be more apologetic about the 'intolerable' wait for our main courses, the entire meal was on the house drinks and all!

We were pissed and all:)

Gotta love North America.

YUP.

We are over here teaching them how to "spot the ned" and prevent them from entering the shop

They are pretty slow at picking up the correct Scottish Terminology in asking someone to leave the store.

Cant quite get the "Fuck Off" with the Scottish Accent.

Might have to stay here a bit longer.

Ho Hum.

oh the hardships you endure laz :p

we scots live in a fucking cold and miserable (although bloody great) country. and we always get sent to Hot mingin countries that have these wierd upsides :p

(large scottish community out here. girl i fancy is scottish as well. see! ITS ALL LINKED!!!!!!)

Its 16:20 over here.

Finishing off action tracker work (assigning resources to wrokstreams) and then developing EDI messaging.

40 minutes time, Ill be off to El Palenque for a Mexican

Btw - beer over here is like sex in a canoe.

me and a mate did that 2years ago to new york, one of the best holidays i've had. recommend it
