Okay i have the name Hardmode saved on the cluster and i thought i would put it to full use by rolling a valkerie

Im gonna go s/s until level 40 but the question is ...

Norse ?

Or ...

Dwarf ?

Also ... should i spec 15 str 10 qui @ creation ... givf advice

i personnaly went fro norse

what final spec are u aiming for ? whatever u do norse is more flexible and wont make much difference at the end anyway. u still can vbalance you r template aroud str if u are a dorf and give more con if u are a norse to compensate... that s just an idea

if u go for a spear spec i d recommand norse:

10str 10dext 10 quick

Im thinking of speccing high enough mend and 2h for the overpowered pulse heal every 15 seconds ...

Maybe something like ...

50 Sword/Spear
43 Odins will
35 Mend ( is this high enough for anything decent ? )
15 Parry

And im gonna go Norse for looks tbh ... tho a small Dorf would be Oped

make your choice ! 50 sword = no dext needed

50 spear = strengh is as important as dext

so your start point will be split differently

or does the sword domage are also 50str/50dext , not sure about it

S/S is actually good at lvl 50 to solo with go watch Conspiracy he does much better solo than valks with spear spec AND he uses champ buffs not buffbot buffs you even get yourself a nice side chain on sword

If you reserved a name on cluster and someone has used it on the other server, then you won't be allowed to use it when you delete the char with it.... so unless you reserved it with the base class and points you want then you're s.o.l.

I know ... i have the name Roleplay on my 34 Merc on Pry ... but someone must have it on Excal as i cant swap it to excal etc ...

And No-one else has the name on other server as i saved it on excal after cluster and swapped it to a pry-mid char

And yes i know ... Conspiracy is one of my best irl meights and bringer of free beer+cookies <3

And also afaik spear is the same as celtic spear ... its pierce damage ... but 100% based on str ... could be wrong tho i doubt it

And Spear is dex+str/2 for Valks as well.

Sword is 100% str.

on midgard hunters and valk are 50% /50% str-dext and that s 100% sure for the spear.

my doubt are about 2h sowrd; i m not sure but i dont think we have such a thing as weapon based on 100% str in midgard. this has to be confirmed tho
