talking of pure Str based weapons compared to Str/Dex weapons in terms of Weaponsskill. Not Infils vs. SBs (for a change) ... but I'm sure you realized that.

At the price of which they cannot use malice, battler (except for charges) and have really crappy style lines. (thats both alb/thrust and hib/pierce) ... but I'm sure you realised that. (z = american spelling of the word btw, s = english.)

because perhaps a malice debuff is one of the best things in the game and its a tradeoff, albiet one you dont get the choice to make but looking at the amount of infils/ns's going slash thesedays its clearly one thats considered worthwhile.

You cannot just look at one detail which is what whiners always do, you need to look at the broader picture.

Well said! Malice and battler are both very good arts that only SB's can use w/o loosing stun and haste with malice/battler seems to roxxors.

Not saying infils are a total waste. Just dont think SB's should whine too much about thrust
