For the dvd rw +- you might want to check out the Sony DW-U14A. I know a couple of people who have it and they say it's great. You can pick it up for under £100 OEM.

I've been looking at the Prescott too but it appears to be under NDA until 2nd Feb, so its worth holding off until some reviews are out before making the buy. If it turns out to be a turkey, then the standard 3.2ghz P4 will have dropped off in price.

Pioneer 106, burns pretty much anything, and can support dual layer burning.
