What is there after 50?,

well I was hoping to be able to last longer in RvR, but no that doesnt happen (well maybe I do last about 2-3 seconds longer but that’s it.) Seen a lot of posts complaining about how weak there classes are now Albs are weaker than Hibs and Mids.

Well if we were more organised, and encouraged more RvR play maybe we would get better at RvR and more ppl would stay In the game and newer ppl would get better quicker and lvl 50's wouldnt leave for other realms etc.

Bigger more organised groups mean more success and more fun.
So before I go mad in RvR (\horse \teleport \slash slash \dead etc) I am organising RvR events with other nights where we can go bash keeps reap rps etc.

All we need are:
1. Some experienced leaders (not me btw) for running the raids (tolerant players with good communication skills)
2. So any individuals or guilds that would be willing to encourage members to participate

or post suggestions here for how we can spice up RvR especaily. During the week.
No moaning about how pertetic we all are in RvR because most classes are bad working alone.

It’s very easy to be critical so let just concentrate on positive ideas, and lets get Alb moving.

If you are interested let me know here and i will contact you in game.

btw im not a meglomaniac - just trying to breath somemore life into the game. GL ;-)

Tactics... A lot of people are just still thinking about RP mainly.. Sure fun after a couple of strikes but later on you'll loose while you could have lasted far longer (and gained much more). Mids and Hibs defeat us just because they know what to do and how to win. I think a lot of people already know how to play in PvE now they only need to know how to play in RvR...

I agree wholeheartedly, and its a shame there isnt more organised stuff.

The few (i.e. very few :) ) situations Ive been in that where marginally co-ordinated (y'know scouted out enemy, casters striking at the right times.. proper field positioning) have been far and away the most fun I've had in RvR.

Im sure its fairly common in the big guilds and big alliances to see this kind of play.. but i long to see all the forces of Albion lined up ready to respond or attack the heathen masses :)

It certainly beats the hell out of standing around at DC watching our archers and casters take pot shots at enemy archers and casters.

I know its difficult, people want to play the game for any number of reasons in any number of ways and you cant argue with that.
It would be nice though, that when the War Cry goes out, the majority knows who to listen to, and what to do (roughly of course)

Anyways, thats just the way i see it

Tried some of this in Caledonia last night... nothing fancy :) but a little more organised than the usual stuff I guess

The rest of the people were playing PK-tag

(mid army charges to bridge, alb army chases them back, alb army retreats... repeat)

So I take my group (which had a minstrel - speed is probably what made this work.... then again if you get it right you don't need it) sit in the forest back a bit from the road, apart from our wizard who was with the main albion group. He'd yell when the mids charged, we'd swing round behind them.

Squish :)

Same thing happened when the hibs (obviously bored) came all the way over from their PK, they'd fought half way across the bridge before we got there... but with about 8 albs in front of them and our group of 7 behind them (and already weak after wiping out another alb force round the corner) they didn't last long...

Was ace fun :)

Course now they're all wise to it so it'll get harder ;)
