I'd download it, but it would probably break loads of things on my computer, seeing as loads of things shouldn't really be there anyway :)

Installed it yesterday, works fine, takes ages to install though!

The security center is annoying, in a nanny type way, particularly as I know best! But I guess all IT professional/hobbists will be in a similar position.

it will detect your dodginess and subtly jinx your computer to make you always lose at games. this can be fixed by getting a proper version.

if you play halo then after you install SP2 the game won't work on some PCs, there is a fix on the Halo website to download.

Mmm 270MB download. That'll be 250MB of fixes for problems that I've never had, 15MB of new problems, and 5MB of patching security holes. Doom and gloom as always :)

This file is for admins and server people (hehe), the regular patch will be a lot smaller when eventually released.

Installed the pack earlier.. No problems so far *touches wood*

The inbuilt firewall is a bit annoying as is the whole security centre. But can live with it. Not noticed much else different.

No, the smaller file will require net access as it will get the bits you need online. This is simply the whole lot in one big file.
