XP Home and printers

I've got an old Lq-200 epson dot matrix printer that we use to print orders and we've just got a new XP Home machine. but it won't print across the network.

Intel Celeron 2.4GHZ
256MB DDR RAM
40GB HD

I know the printer is old but is there anyway of getting it to print.

The host machine for the printer is running Windows 2K

The program we use to print from is a DOS program.
