XP duo

A friend of mine wants to start playing (I tried to talk him out of it) and wants to play on Alb (again, I tried)

I`m pretty bored with mid and havent played in about 2 months so I might help him to level for a while.

He wants to play a tank class and I was thinking of rolling a cleric to duo with him.

Anyone tried a pally/cleric duo that can tell me if its good?

Should have everything needed to level fast.

End, buffs, nice healing etc...

Does it take weeks for the pally to kill anything even when buffed?

Should we go for a merc or arms instead?

And a necro is not going to happen before anyone suggests it, fastest xp yes, but he wants a tank.

merc Friar are good, also Paladin Friar.

The Paladin can Take agro very well while the friar deals the damage and healls after to minmise downtime

pala/reaver duo is awesome if both are sheild spec and the reaver has indigo snake

nobody realises that reavers are the best for duoing with a paladin (providing you have a buffbot)

2 guards on each other, both can self heal, reaver does the best dmg ever (at around level 30 i'd so, gets a little worse till you get to 50 though )

but 2 guards is awesome.

Level 49 is wank, landing the lvl 18 proc is a god damn mission.

Hehe, prefer it on different stealthers more. Especially if they got low cold resist
