XP Deaths in DF...

Those few times i log in with my ice wiz in DF at hib or mid side, when it is not ours, i just don`t check con if I see something that i can pbaoe/nuke. with no valid options of getting away from a fight, most of the time i just try to wtfpawn as fast as possible and run away as soon afterwards...

Logging after the exit portal is always fun... i am bound to get a lot of kills if i log in there. half of which will be grey, as if i notice if i run into a group of peops, standing around, assembling a group, colateral damage from pbaoe as far as i am concerned, lol.

I don`t get to pick my fights like a stealth/CC class, they happen to me and i have to make the best of each encounter.

Choosing if i will attack or not is not really an option for me there. I need to exploit each form of initiative or edge i can get. I can`t turn my back on a lvl 35 tank.

Unless he sees me and does /em cry fast enough

And as if any stealher will wait for me to finish of aggro when i go to mid or hib side, lol, they are just following and waiting till i get agro.

There's nothing wrong with tearing wings from a fly either. When u start to enjoy it...

Argh, now what does playing a game (the way it is designed to be played) has to do with tearing of fly wings ??

Are flies on this world to have their wings teared of ? No! (thats what people keep telling me *twitches with his eye*)
Are enemy players in RvR areas to be killed ? Yes! (preferably a horrible death, they are the e.n.e.m.y. and they are so "brave" they dare to exp there)

People from hibernia. Enemies!
People from midgard. Enemies!
Flies. Insects that fly around in a place called "RL".

Let's all repeat these 2 sentences.

RvR area's are open to all player, even your enemies, whose job it is to kill you, on sight. Same goes for you.

Flies are insects, they will not mezz you, they will not try to kill you, they are not character in DAoC and you will not gain RPS by tearing of their wings.

If you don't like killing other people in DAoC and rather let them kill that monster first, or maybe even help killing, it probably isnt the right game for you. Try this

If the above doesnt apply to you. Congratulations, you are one of the many people that play a game as it is supposed to be played. If your having fun while doing a good job taking out enemies (note you are not killing/damage something that has nothing to do with the game ) thats even better, be lucky your not one of those persons who like to tear off wings of flies.

You do not seem to draw lines between reality and a game, the object of this game is to kill people (As I stated) they are members from an enemy realm.

Your point has no relevence whatsoever in this discussion. We splat/nuke/zap/fry/burn/swat flies in thier millions everyday, pity they dont give RP's or suffer XP deaths.

Plus the reason why I still have that acc is cos my rl wud kill me if i deleted the chars there as he uses the acc still.

Hence why I started a new acc. Not right to skip using info from one realm to another now is it...

End of the day this thread was made in relation to the ethics of attacking ppl in rvr areas wen they are killing mobs and likely to get XP death...

gotta confess.....I expkilled a warrior in DF....

was in DF thursday morning the 15th of july, with my ranger (lvl38) and 2 hero's both 50, we went about and killed lots etc, we went to check hulks, and there we saw a warrior with his BB, Nobloc and Noblok...

we waited untill he killed the mob and rested a bit, but 1 of the hero's was greedy and ran in

we killed the bb, killed the warrior, and we didn't get anything for the warrior

when he released we saw his grave....

as I said b4, I live by 1 thing, and 1 thing only in DF these days....NO MERCY! MOUHAHAHAHA

but the worst thing is, I didn't get RPs for the warrior, no exp, and no BPs...
could've dinged 1l9 on him (dinged 1l9 on the next mid we keeled )

so the lesson is: don't be greedy, so you'll get RPs =)

Don't be an arse killing people like that, means you get sod all RP's for it, try fighting me 1 on 1 next time.... that is without a mob killing me...

Humm... PvE in DF = Open to RvR / XP kill. Deal with it or go XP where it's relativly safe to do so.
