O.k but you dont really need a GeForce 4 do you. You would only need a GeForce 3 mabye even a GeForce2! As for the wires bit i have A.D.D and my mind wanders every now and then. Sorry.

You don`t need a dogs gonad PC to play all the latest games better than any console! I think we should agree to disagree and leave it at that. Oh and i can get a GeForce 4 cheaper from abroad so they dont cost as much as you think......

Anyway Denny. What games you like playing? Cos one area I think consoles get shats on by PCs is anything online. - espec FPSs. Nothing compares to mouse and keyboard.

No but then again as I pointed out it comes down to the combination of different parts. A GF2 with any processor can't actually do what the XBox can in terms of graphics effects etc.

No you don't but that is kind of getting away from your first point.

Any one can order from the US but by the time you've paid for it and added the import tax and taken into account the fact you have to send it back if its borked then it isn't any cheaper getting it from the US etc.

At the moment i`m playing Aliens Versus Predator 2, Medal of Honour & RTCW. I am thinking playing some on-line RPG`s but i haven`t seen anything i like.

Mate of mine decided to open up his bosses X-Box..... it has 128MB RAM, GeForce3 and a 700Mhz Processor...

tbh i couldn't really give a shite about the X-Box.... thing i dont like is when Microsoft "persuade" gaming companies not to release games on the PC because it was bringing out the X-Box cough*NBA 2002*cough..... Halo will be out at the end of the year ..... why? they could have brought it out now cause i'm sure it isn't hard to convert from a Dedicated Gaming PC (X-Box) to a standard PC.

Just wait a few months and someone would have made an emulator to play all X-Box games.

it IS 64 meg of 400mhz unified DDR ram. (200mhz, 400 ddr).

Halo is allegedly out in august, or so i hear anyway....

they did it because they NEED a killer app.... and even then, i haven't played Halo much... i think it's going to be good, but not spectacular...

what's going to do for the xbox is it's high price in a market where other consoles are dropping in price... it's sheer uglyness... and hell, the microsoft name itself isn't really good for it.
